    Morning all

Rugybymum - did you take out PPI cos they add that to the cost of the loan and then charge you interest on it so could account for why you owe more than when you started. But I agree with Luc that you should ask them for a detailed statement.

No PPI. I definately won't be phoning them because it took me two months to get them to stop harrasing me by phone in the first place!
I posted another thread and had great results so far!

  • Maz,
I just very lightly cooked it first, I like it a bit crunchy. (oo er missus)

I decided against the bacon after using LOADS of cheese but it would be lush with bacon or sausages.

Your tea sounds GORGEOUS. Would it last if you sent me some??

BUNNY! Cauliflower cheese and bacon is NOT repeat NOT going to help with the target of 1stone before christmas is it.....

And duvet day! Aren't you supposed to be doing a run today:eek:

:rotfl: :rotfl: no, really you should make the most of your free time before you start work on Monday!:rotfl:

After last nights military commando fitness class, I kind of rolled out of bed this morning two hours late, so no revising first thing for me. Then I went for a personal training session hardly able to move and luckily she said she couldn't pt me after last nights session as you need a day in between to recover.. Thank god for that, so she gave me a sports massage instead.

It hurt!! but i feel good now, almost like an athlete:rotfl:

Jane, I am so glad things are looking up for you as a family, good news....

did you steam your cauli first...? i wasn't sure if i had to before putting in oven with cheese sauce, but i did anyway... thought it was a stupid question to ask...

mine was delish so hope yours is too, i'm sure it will be! but you've got me thinking i should have it again with bacon.....???

i have had sausage casserole in slow cooker overnight, which will just need heating up, have a cabbage to go with it... what do you guys think about fried potatoes with that? just have a notion for them....

then bubble n squeak tomorrow! yum yum!

I cook all the various bits first (cauli, bacon ,additional veg) then bung it all in a dish with (HOMEMADE:p ) cheese sauce for 20mins ish to go bubbly and brown. I think cauliflower would burn before it cooked through in the oven unless it was being braised in veg stock or something (what do yo think Chef BB???). And its not a daft question!

Can I come to yours for tea tonight? I'll do the washing up...

Hubbles is in Aberdeen tonight so its just me and Casper and sausaage casserole, cabbage and fried potatoes sounds lush! We'll probably have marmite on toast ...

  • Bunny - i'm not sure if the postie would much like having to get an envelope full of 2 day old cabbage thru your door!

Luc - tell hubbles to stop off at Laurencekirk and i'll give you a doggy bag!!

so onto my next question, fried potatoes, here's my plan ... chop into biggish chunks, leave skins on, shove in steamer for a while, salt and pepper, then into pan with a bit of oil... i don't really own any fancy herbs or anything but think that should do the job... might even add some bacon too!

There is a really good slimming world version of cauliflower cheese with half fat cheese and a small bit of mustard and cherry tomatoes.

Hubbles is on the train or I'd be sorely tempted;)

So where's the question? (I would maybe add some onions and a wee knob of butter for flavour rather than bacon. No fancy herbs necessary;) )
