Fossil trip? !!!!!!?
and duvet day is soooooooooooooooo lovely so far. Just contemplating making my cheese sauce for my cauli/cheese im doing for lunch...
Would it be greedy to do it with bacon when i've already had bacon for breakfast?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I'm the youngest and apart from Deb (SIL), the rest of them are fossils (pensioners), but we join them and MIL for their annual Turkey and Tinsel holiday.
Because I don't get paid overtime I usually end up with more holidays than Wayne so this is our week away from each other. Of course I'll not be joining the fossils next year cos I'll have Evie with me so Deb and I will probably book a cheap trip to Jersey for some nice duty free shopping but this time we'll fly to Jersey as a 15 hour coach and boat trip isn't that great!

Would you like to rub our noses in it a bit more? I'mnot sure I'm jealous enough yet:pBunnyinthelights wrote: »Would it be greedy to do it with bacon when i've already had bacon for breakfast?
Nope - I give full permission. Duvet days are all about being self indulgent! Well it seems that my Mum & Dad have had a chat and it's all being sorted out!!
I feel 100% better now and it feels like a wait has been lifted......... Lets juat hope it will be a end to it.... I did say to my dad that even though its my mums debt in name we as a family were all responsible for it and he agreed which I have to say shocked me!!! I think things are definatley going to be different in my family from now on in.....DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
excellent news Jane......!!! Your poor mum has probably been keeping this to herself for such a long time, it's good to see the old DFW adage of "getting it out in the open with partners is the first/hardest step. It's never as bad as you think." coming true....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

That's great Jet. Maybe this wee black cloud has a silver lining if it has brought your family closer and opened them to communicating with each other;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
