I ate about half hun.
In the past, I would have easily eaten the whole thing and thought nothing if it. (But I did lick the cheese sauce off the plate! lol)Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Ooo - you could add hot veg stock to the left overs and whizz it all up to make cauli-cheese soup and use the bacon as crispy sprinkles on top:j26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I'm waiting to see what i'm going to do for lunch.... had cereal at 1030 and really not sure if hungry yet... but getting that way..........
i think i'm obsessed with food today... i blame bunny, all this talk of bacon sandwiches and caulicheese........
and luc - all this talk of califlower cheese soup and bacon sprinkles....!!
nothing to do with me n my sausage caserole, cabbage and fried potatoes at all! :whistle:I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Another thing I am trying to do is listen to how my body feels when I eat certain things-for instance, I love sweets-I would, in the past, easily eat an entire bag of haribo (big bag!) now last night, I had a few love hearts (DH has eating them and throwing ones at me that said things like 'LOVE YOU' etc) and after about 3 my belly felt dead yucky so I said 'no more'. THAT was virtually unheard of before. I have had a bag of my favourite rice crisps in the cupboard fro a week and not eaten them all!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

I'm just eating whatever I fancy. Fortunatey its mostly healthy stuff and I can't seem to manage more than a few mouthfuls at a time... I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune next march:rolleyes:
What we have done though is started using smaller plates for dinner. We got the size between the tea plate and dinner plate as wedding presents. We had bigger plates before and used to fill them and just eat what was on them. Since getting the smaller plates we still fill them but htey obviously hold less (no we don't make food mountains:p ) but we find we are full when we clear them and sometimes there's even a wee bit left over:eek: - unheard of from Hubbles previously...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
