I said that about Home Bargains earlier, so at the moment i dont really have a need to do a big enough order to warrant the delivery charge.
I was walking around Home Bargains yesterday, and a lot of the stuff they do, is on Approved Foods! But Homebargains charge that little bit more for it becuase 1, its withing the BBD, and 2, they probably have much larger overheads.
A few things i noticed were the Tuna steak in Ginger and Soy dressing, these were 69p in HB. Same for the Mcoys 9 pack - these were 99p, and also the other make for the same price. The bakin boys cup cakes were 10 for 59p as where as on AP they are 30 for £1?
Home bargains though has a very good selection of dog food, even from the top brands such as hi - life. Also has extremly cheap hair products like Nicky Clarke hair products all at £1.29 - normally well over £3 in boots. Also were selling goldwells shampoo for 59p, which are normally well over a fiver.
What i am gutted about is the Lloyd grossman sauces though! If i was to make an order, i think that would consist of most of it... just wish HB would get some in!!!0 -

Can I just say to the negative people on this thread, if you dnt like approved food then thats your problem. Stop trying to pick holes in everything little thing and stop posting on this thread.
Many people have order from Approved Foods and loved it, Dan and the team provide a great service. As with everything thing in this life its not everyones cup of tea but other people do not need to hear your consistent moaning, its getting boring now. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
