Actually ive had some and it tastes just fine - quit finding fault where there is none!

Blimey, calm down! I've just found personally that some teas deteriorate quickly - redbush lasts well but green teas less so.

Apologies. It just seems over the last few days that people have come on to this thread just to find fault with the company/its products/its website, etc. Which is somewhat annoying for those of us who have actually tried the products and know how good they actually are.

Why is tiredmum thanking every single post on this thread- now THAT'S odd!

Can't wait to place my order from "approved food" - just gonna wait a few weeks until our food cupboards have run a little lower.

Question for Dan, do you have other stuff in your warehouse that you don't/can#t sell online, like frozen stuff etc etc?

Answer for ukmonkey: no we don't.

  • can i just ask if anyone has not already noticed that all this stuff on approved food is sold on home&bargain b&m and quailty save for pretty much the same price and WITHIN its best before dates 95% of the time???

not tryna rain on anyones parade or anything but its true!! i know some people wont always have those types of stores near to them but most people have one within travelling distance and it just seems a bit odd to me that nobody has noticed and are all treating this as some sort of gold mine..when infact its exactly the same as the shops i mentioned except online but with delivery charge on top :rotfl:
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

Hi Dan, got my 3rd order the other week. Unfortunately it arrived to quickly, to make a substitution for the drinks that were out of stock!

Noticed another little mistake for amendment on the site the Hib drinks are in the still drinks category, but actually they are sparkling. (For anyone wondering about them - try them I think they're really nice and taste similar to cherry or red grape juice - you would think it was fruit not flower juice!)!

    I think that's a bit of a pointless generalisation.
I'm down south and don't have any of those chains here.
I do have a local shop that sells similar stuff and their prices are comparable 9but they don't always have so many of the things we like in stock), but even with the delivery charge Approved food is cheaper for the cakes and drinks my OH likes, and as I don't have a car, delivery on 28kg of food is little more than a taxi would cost me anyway!

Though I've had things out of stock on all my orders I still think the value for money and delivery times have been very good so I'm happy to place more orders in the future too! :T and it's great to see a company that is constantly working on it's website to try to provide solutions to any such, little inconveniences.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
