Please take care everyone. Bargains are not always what they seem.

Will you please give up already, you have made your point which doesnt appear to be based on fact as you yourself havent placed an order and therefore are in no position to comment on the items. This is sounding more and more like a personal vendetta against Dan and his business and I dont know about anyone else but im getting fed up with it.

If you want to make comments about approved foods please feel free to make an order and sample what the rest of us are currently enjoying.

Have you read the thread? The bargains are what they seem. People have been to the shop in Doncaster- lots of people have received their goods. I'm afraid that as this is a small operation in comparison to Tesco etc there will be times when things go wrong,( though goodness knows they do with Tesco too) but I am confident from my experience with the people working there that they will be responsive to breakages, losses and delays. Right now when Dan is just back from his hols I guess things will be a bit busy, but if we are patient there are great gains for all of us.
On another note, has anyone tried the sugar free sweet enough strawberry things? What are they like?

Or leave this thread alone, and go onto another one. You've warned us, we've taken notice, thank you and goodbye.

Not being horrible to Mutter but I think we should ignore he/she as it seems like a toddler tantrum to me.

I love the site and although it was out of stock this time I love the large jars of nuttella. Cheaper than the shops and last so much longer just what I needed. Not only that I have some treats in for over Xmas.

I reckon something's been going on between ApprovedFood and Mutter. Wonder what it could be...

Sorry not read all the thread. I've had a look at the site and yes it certainly seems to be less expensive than shopping in the major supermarkets but items (the ones I looked at) are at the best before date, if not passed it - I don't get it - why buy out of date food:confused: - the items can't be frozen either as they are dried goods:confused:

Maybe people buy food past its BEST BEFORE DATE not OUT OF DATE, becuase its very very cheap. With the times being hard at the moment, Approved Foods is ideal for a lot of people.

I must say i have been tempted to order, but havent as of yet as i think the postage is a bit steep for me, and besides i have a place called Home Bargains near by which is more or less just as cheap on a lot of the food items.

I dont get Mutters problem though. It seems a cracking website to me, and obviously to a lot of people, and by the looks of it Dan does a great job!

Maybe a disgruntled ex employee? Or a competitor??

I do not know what mutter's problem is with this site but judging from this thread its not the first time he/she has been out spoken

The food is not stale- its still good. And you can freeze cakes, though tbh I have been amazed at how long they last- it must be all the preservatives. As there is no health risks from these foods, the best before date seems to be a bit of a guess. And he checks the food to see its fine- if itsnot he won't sell it. What about the jars and tins? They don't go off for years as they are in a vacuum. best before is different from sell by and use by dates

Approved food is a godsend to those of us with belts that need to be tightened i have used them 3 times and paid through google check out each time no problems at all. I have reccommended the site to many others and will continue to do so until you can tell me what and if there is a problem that the rest of us cant see:confused:
