WE HAVE NOW SHUT DOWN THE BILLING SIDE OF THE WEB SITE SO WE CAN CLEAR ALL THE ORDERS BEFORE CHRISTMAS IN PLENTY OF TIME.

You can still browse whats in stock and register for our email shots but you wont be billed for any orders.

In other words, WE ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS AT THE MOMENT

I think it is probably because the site is now shut for orders until after Christmas to catch up with the huge increase in traffic due to the site being talked about so much?

I dnt think the site is taking any new orders now until after Xmas either.

Okay, I wasn't really querying the discount but more the lack of payment taking.

I did read what displayed on-screen of the first page, but the bit in red (Quoted) did not visibly display on my screen (ie: I would have to scroll down for it and I went straight into the items section and did not see it)

Oh well, thanks for the quick responses! I suppose I will not have my nibbles for Christmas after all.

(Wow you respond fast - more replies when I was still typing! Excuse my lack of brain cells this evening, feeling a bit silly now!)

Just to let you know that if you have received a Google Checkout receipt, then your order was placed before we closed the website and you should receive your goods before Xmas.
If you have not got a Google Checkout receipt then your order has not been processed. I'll do my best to contact those who made a later order but can't promise.

I collected my order yesterday which was fine. There seems to be lots ready to add to the website for after christmas too.

Warehouse is much smaller than I expected but the staff were lovely and really helpful. (dealt with a dark haired lady but didnt know her name)

Just reviewed my order and realised that I have added 36 tins of soup instead of 6. No wonder it was heavy! Hope it's nice.
