Hi Dan,
Not had any reply to the problem with the Peanut butter but I have put this down to teething problem. No worries though I placed my second order yesterday, as I have said on previous replies, I like the food and the service what more could you want.
Thanks for making food more afforable for those that dnt have a lot of money. I know now I am able to buy more little treats ready for Xmas. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

I think we should rename this thread "The Dan Fan Club".
I placed my first order on Tuesday, it arrived very promptly on Friday afternoon. I was so excited about opening it up, but was really disappointed to find the contents had suffered somewhat in transit - it appears that DHL must have dropped the entire box, smashing bottles & jars in the process, & causing the box to disintegrate; they had just picked up most of it, & put it in another box, broken bottles & all! Hence what I received was quite different from what was sent out. I picked out what was salvageable from the mess, & e-mailed Approved Foods with the whole sorry story. Within a matter of minutes, Dan phoned me back to apologise & offer a refund, & we had a really nice chat - what a lovely guy! It's not often you get such fantastic customer service - & in this case he was solving a problem that was really not their fault. If anyone has had problems, just bear with them for a little while, I am sure everything will get sorted in the end.
As for the food, it's all gone down very well in our house - I would thoroughly recommend the instant mocha, the malt loaves, orange juice, fruitini juice drink, peanut butter & the fair trade chocolate/hazelnut spread (yes, I think it does taste quite strong, because it's really good quality chocolate!)
I really hope this business thrives, mainly because I want to keep shopping here, but also because he seems such a nice guy.......0 -

Depends on how much you buy i had to pay £5 something for delivery but on the pot noodles (3 trays) alone i saved a massive £30 odd quid on shop prices!0 -
