He would be better off delegating. Handle the PR stuff himself and delegate. Any complaints/suggestions/orders/chasing up should be done by a lesser mortal.
So you want Dan to employ someone to read this board?

Maybe I have been selective and not posted 'for the sake of it'.
    Quality versus quantity, eh?

You have been indeed very selective 2 posts in 2005 have been in the balance discussion area and the rest here.

If it makes the company more efficient, orders out, satisfied customers, yes.
We're not dealing with a 'most popular person' competition.

It's a business. I pay money, I get a service/goods in exchange as painlessly as possible.

This is the real world pal.

If someone expected Tesco or Asda for example, to trawl the web for complaints which they then handled, that would be crazy.
If you have an issue with any retailer i suggest you take it up with them directly!

How can employing someone to read this board make the business more efficient? Will you be willing to pay more for this service?

Give Dan a call if you are tired of waiting. You can track the status of your order on your goggle account.

I am not 'tired of waiting' and have not suggested otherwise.
Methinks that for whatever reason your reading of posts is 'blinkered' with your comprehension of comments that are not blatantly only praising the supplier in this case making you 'defensive' rather than neutral.

Get real will you? It would cost far less in lost revenue and goodwill to get someone else to do the mundane things and for he himself to get on top and chase the system to keep the customers satisfied. A company must keep customers happy.
"Sorry, I can't deal with decisions, I have to read this forum".

    Silly.

We're not discussing Tesco or Asda, but a supplier that has already visited and posted on this discussion thread, right?
Presumably the supplier is interested how customers feel about things, especially those that will have found him here, which is one of the main sources of the dramatic increase in business?

That's the thing. He should be too busy now.
