In case anyone is ordering, I got a refund notice on some items today- there seems to be no satay sets , del monte or balsamic vinaigrette.
I ordered on Jan 13th, so I guess its been packed now:T
I'm looking forward to the soft liquorice. One of the things I like about getting a box of stuff, is trying stuff I don't usually buy. Its like when you buy some obscure meat because its reduced- it adds an element of excitement to an otherwise boring shop. Although I still have some frozen Quail waiting for the right moment...

Mine just says the same - its not to same set up as the last order i received so not sure what's going on.......
The whole set up is totally different!
Checked out google checkout , which states my real address, But the email I received from dhl has the wrong address and states "Shipment Data Received" and hasn't changed in 2 days.
Last two orders have been fine, even the 1st one that only had my name and street and i received no problems.
I ordered on the 11th Jan and are still waiting for my order.
I have rang DHL they said that my order has not been collected yet and they are waiting for AP to dispatch the order and to allow up to 28 days.
Sod that !!!!! if its not here by wed. 21st I am asking Dan for a full refund.

I think once they have cleared the backlog they might add some more stock. Some of the goods might be out of stock so if you can wait better for you.

I dont mind waiting a while but not 28 days!!! when we ordered there was no notice on website about delays etc, so i just thought it would be about the same time as last time, but when i heard about the extra work i expected a little delay! just hope its not 28 days!! Sure it wont be that long as dan will try and get them out asap..........

Start a DHL thread on the consumer vent board...;)

Thing is Sarah, if DHL are giving quite a few of Dan's customers problems, and Dan has set up the contract with DHL, then really Dan does need to know about it. It's not as if we are all going to his place to buy and pick up, the delivery service is part of the deal.
That said, I'm sure we all appreciate that this is not Dan's fault and folk are picking fault with DHL and not him.:o But he really needs the info to help him decide who it's best to use for his business in future.

Out of interest, I'm on one of the outer isles and for over a year have been buying 'health' foods from another on-line outlet. They use a certain courier company, the charges are similar to DHL, and I've never had a problem yet ... So there are other companies out there that can compete on both service and price ...

I think the use of DHL needs to be re considered judging from the number of issues people are having. It is what is keeping me from ordering again.

Not ordered from here, would like to BUT I know I hate DHL delivery service.

They always seem to mess up round our way - always. Then I end up going 40 mile round trip to collect myself after having spent days and a fortune on the phone to a nice answering machine. I won't order online from places I know use DHL. Not the stores fault.

I guess I'm lucky then, never once had a problem with DHL! And no, you can't all move in with me. I'm guessing once Dan has got on top of things he may well review this as there do seem to have been many problems. But please give him a chance guys, I can only imagine all their little legs running round the warehouse trying to catch up! I'd go and help if I could but I'm too far away (however anyone looking for work in the area knows where to head to!)
