Really cheap food...however

May I say a BIG THANKS to Dan and the team, I placed an rather large order on saturday and what they say is true on their site about working round the clock. Just had a refund recicpt from dan about a few things out of stock and to refund my second delivery charge. Not only that dhl picked up the parcel at 10.05pm tonight.

So thanks dan and the team you are doing a smashing job and you all deserved a big drink from all us msers :beer:

Well my first order arrived this morning - all looked good till i realised that they'd missed off the 2nd page of the order - 4 items - all cases of drinks & things that are heavy. I've emailed so will wait to hear from them. A bit disappointed from that respect as the rest of the stuff is great but really wanted the cases of drinks for the childrens packed lunches. (and they make up most of the weight :mad: )

Yes, I agree there are clearly some issues that are probably a result of all the extra business.

I received my first order today but 2 items were missing (they were big packs of items). One was marked as no stock but was not included in the refund I have been notified of and the other was just circled but was not enclosed in my parcel.

These issues are understandable given the amount of increased business af have had to deal with and I am hopeful that my correct refund will be issued swiftly but I think it is an illustration that people really should heed the advice on the website to wait til next week until ordering.

I am certainly not being critical of AF but i think they need time to catch up on orders and set themselves up to deal with all the extra business.

its hard for a company to cope with such a surge in interest! give them time! at least Dan is honest and realistic rather than making false promises;)

We currently have a 7-day backlog of orders that are to be processed, due to the fact that so many orders have come in today.

For those who have recently placed orders online, you should expect a delivery notice from our courier in the next few days.

i placed a order on saturday got a email off them last night saying my oder has been dispatched when i have tracked it on DHL it said it was out for delivery today so waited in all day now it says Delivery Address Inadequate any1 no what it means as it the right address

Sounds like DHL couldnt find your property, i would give DHL a ring if you have the tracking number give it to DHL and they can update the details

Thabks just rung them now they had been given the wrong delivery adrdress of aproved foods had number 55 and mines 65 its the right address on my order thou

The only downside was DHL who practically forced the parcel onto my neighbours because we were out. It annoys me when they do that, how can then guarantee that person is going to give it back to me? Surely they should only deliver to the address it is marked for!
