Right... done 1), 3), 4) and 5). WILL do 2,7 and 8 when OH gets home and will start 6 in a bit too. Not doing too badly

Well... DEBT. next month is not going to be a good one as far as repaying debt is going. Have had various other bills which need paying asap totalling £180. Along with xmas and its social activities also have few special bdays this month. So looks like will not be able to over pay this month at all or very little.

    moneywise i must -

    1) get all money paid into same account from next month.
    2) start ebaying like a mad woman to make up for no planned overpayment this month.
    3) roll on friday when wages go in to sort payments.

    catch ya later BH X

  • bit cheesed off this morning - well not really cheesed off just a bit dis heartened. went out with a friend last night who told me that her OH's parents had paid off all their debts and they don't have to pay them back!!! Grr....some people have all the luck. wish my parents were such a push over! ha ha. no seriously though. I know its my problem and think how much better I'll feel when i know that WE sorted out on our own but its just annoying to think that they are debt free by doing absolutely nothing and the worse thing is....as no LBM yet they will probably go back into debt again!!

anyway...should be studying. starting now and not coming back on MSE till coursework done  will update sig and sort figures out then

    bring on the 20k challenge!

  • Keep your chin up lass, and remember you are probably right. Those who get bailed out rarely learn first time.....

You're keeping positive, and that's the hardest thing sometimes. Have you looked at the interest rates on your debts to see if you can shift it around a bit and get better rates?

    Good luck x
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
    LB moment - March 2006. DFD - 1 June 2012!!! DEBT FREE!

    May grocery challenge £45.61/£120

  • ok sorted spreadsheets out...

have 894.43 going out on monday. that is 100 less than the budget but is still 200+ over payment!!! :j

not sure if I will be able to do much more this month with xmas and all. good though as I have also paid for car tax this month!!! so would have nearly been on target for the 1k.

have updated snowballer aswell will update signature in a bit with new figures.

Plans for month money wise -

    1) few more ebay listings next week
    2) get all books sorted (have loads and some are worth 50 quid each!:p )
    3) random things I need to pay/find money for £20 to SIL, OH works do (£30 as it costs 15 anyway:mad: ), SIL bday party (£30?) pressie is joint with xmas (£40), DS godfather's bday (£20), OH's bday (£? i can forget this if necessary till new years as he is not expecting more than a card anyway!!!), hair cut (£60), trip to hospital (£100) so need to find an extra £300  argh!! only just worked that out properly - thats quite a lot. whoops!
    4) expected money - £15 odd expenses, owed about £20 sponsor money from different people so only 265 to go.....
    5) double check balances when they update after payment to make sure total debt figure right!

oh dinners ready..will carry on in a bit....

Hi Baby, lovely for your friends to have had their debt paid off, but it will always be a bargaining chip held by the parents ;) and will no doubt get frequently hinted at if not mentioned outright.

Hope you are feeling better soon and keep on juggling.

WELL... I am rather pleased with myself today as I have managed to find the extra 300... !!! Got some expenses paid, sold a few bits for more than I thought and so have managed to do it and its only 7thoo December!!

    WOOP WOOP!

No more payments on debt though - but it means that any more extra money can go straight off debt! yay.

    Need to -

    1) check payments and update totals
    2) sort books and bits out to do some more selling!
