Phil & Krusty Back on Our Screens

  • I saw the advert and gotta say i very nearly choked on my dinner. At the end of the screening is a shot of Kirsty looking seriously into the camera and she says (and i quote) - ''If she does not buy NOW, she may never be able to buy......'' The advert then ends abruptly.

Dan - it is things like this that make people despise them. All they care about is rampant HPI and nothing else. Similarly, her stint as a 'property guru' in The Sun newspaper showed nothing but self care and and questions relating to HPC and repossesion were ignored and twisted into telling people how well she did during the golden days.

Perhaps the advert ends abruptly just before she finishes off the sentence with " at sky high prices, that will leave her in debt until they close the lid on her coffin, if she waits she could buy a home at an affordable price which is the best thi.........."< at this point Phils' cheshire cat smile vanishes as he hits Krustie over the head with a shovel, whilst mumbling something about her 'going off message'>

    Wonder if they'll apologise :D

I think calling a person you don't know who has never harmed you a horrible name (Krusty) is immature and uncalled for.

Argue aginst her but dont resort to calling her childish names please.

    .

I saw that, and I have to say I was shocked, maybe its to do with securing a mortgage at a good rate or somthing though?

I had wondered about applying for the programme TBH. Let someone else find it and bargain for it and no fee for it.....

I've been guilty of this in the past but, boy, is she an easy target.

I posted last week about a chap that I've known for yrs, whose ex-wife was given a free 7 day break in the sun by LLL. in return she agreed to pose as a prospective buyer, 'viewing' a no. of props over the course of a day. I discovered this piece of info purely by accident.

false. manipulative. misleading. dishonest. (add to at will).

LLL probably isn't the only trash programme engaged in this type of audience suckering, but it should come with this health warning:

this programme has been categorized as fiction. all participants are actors and the viewed properties are not always for sale. any 'advice' contained herein does not constitute advice. broadcast for entertainment purposes only.

that should put a stop to the name-calling (and, hopefully, the production).

Im amazed that there is such hatred towards these two people, surley they can't be blamed for causing HPI? .

I think it's more contempt than hatred.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

They are seen as part of the pack of vultures who circled around buyers when the market was on the way up. Of course, the regular posters on the HP board have become part of the pack of vultures that circle around sellers as the market moves down. Personally I don't see the difference between Krusty & Phil and anyone trying to shaft someone who has fallen on hardtimes. Different face of the same coin.

The sort of people who were the 'contestants' on the K&P show were generally just like them, huge amounts of money at their disposal and inflated ideas of their own importance.

The buyers of the vast house in Lincolnshire with the equally massive garden would never have been able to keep the place going without help - so would be making work for locals!

The only one I ever really liked was they guy who bought the house in Margate. He was a clothes designer - I think. He made the house look smashing and he had his feet on the ground.

The infamous 'Hereward' sticks out as one of the funniest - inadvertantly!

The thing about K&P is that they are such easy targets, they also bring so much of the criticism on themselves. All that rubbish about stamp duty - bosh! The are 'larger than life' - which is much of the appeal of their show. It does make them easier to caricature!

Shows how desperate the TV are to drag them back on the screen after all that has happened over the last year or so. I wonder what !!!!!! they will come up with this time. Hate the sight of them myself. He can't talk properly and she is a stuck up moose.
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
