I saw the advert and gotta say i very nearly choked on my dinner. At the end of the screening is a shot of Kirsty looking seriously into the camera and she says (and i quote) - ''If she does not buy NOW, she may never be able to buy......'' The advert then ends abruptly.

I saw that too. When I saw that I said to myself "that arrogant b***h". How dare she talking as if she knows everything!

    Is this for real?!

I used to watch this program (yes, I know. I am deeply ashamed). At the time, the bullish attitudes suited the market. They clearly do not suit the market now, and it's strange that they'd bang out another series using the same trite mantra as if the past 12 months hadn't happened. They ought to be focussing on the oportunites to up-size, but I'm forgetting that this is a one trick pony.

If the program doesn't start with a full and frank apology from both of them I'm switching over immediately.

Alot of grovelling and promises of substantial personal donations to charities for the homeless wouldn't go amiss either.

Why would you even watch this programme? You slag it off on every other post.

Yes it is very real, shocking i know.
I think it is how they have edited it. I mean, the target audience is BTLers and rampant HPI lovers so i can imagine seeing their faces light up with glee and thinking ''i must watch that, they are going to tell me everything is ok again''...

Yeah, I saw that nearly booted in the TV. I'm hoping it's just a way to get peope to tune in depserate to know exactly how she can possibly still be saying this, and actually there'll be some reason other than the obvious. Sadly, I'm not optimistic. I suspect it really will be "prices will never be this cheap again... !!!!!!!!.

The only one I ever really liked was they guy who bought the house in Margate. He was a clothes designer - I think. He made the house look smashing and he had his feet on the ground.

There was a couple a few years back who seemed very nice. They liked rock climbing and all they really wanted was a run-down 3 bed semi with a garage for their gear and a garden for their dog. They seemed really nice and the woman reminded me of Julie Parrish from V.

On the same programme were a pair of really obnoxious seeming doctors, who rejected a 5 bed, period detached for being "too perfect" and bought an enormous 7/8 bed place instead. I didn't like them, and neither of them reminded me of a beloved sci-fi character from my childhood either.
  • sorry Gracie, but go to my earlier post.

they're all bloody actors! ( I swear it!).

Then why would they make them all so bloody unsympathetic? I don't doubt they occasionally use actors, but I'd imagine most of the time they're real people.

Good point there. This will run to tell buyers GO GO GO!! before it is too late. As Horseinhatman (RIP) famously kept saying ''if you do not buy NOW you will miss the boat again......''
