Phil & Krusty Back on Our Screens

Oh dear.
Krusty 'n Phil returned via Channel 4's "100 sexiest people" last night - as voted for by the public!
Their onscreen "chemistry" was mentioned. But not the sexual potency of booming house prices and property success stories.
They may find it harder in the downturn.0 -
Hilarious. Krusty isn't even the best looking member of her family. And Kojak had more hair than Phil spenderKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
"Buy now because house prices only ever go UP, UP, UP."0 -
But Phil's nicely trimmed chest hair in the "hot tubbing scene" won plaudits :rotfl:
"And you can tell he goes down the gym" , added one commentator struggling to provide some feeble justification for their inclusion.0 -

I've only seen LLL a couple of times, but I thought their "banter" was ludicrously contrived....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
The new show looks like it's going to be even more of the same - pushing people into buying houses they can't afford in the belief that prices will always go up:
http://property.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/property/investment/article5155123.eceThis is, after all, the cheapest time to buy property for years – and it could prove one of the best. If you have the cash to get into the market today and are able to drive down the price further, you’re set to become even wealthier in the future.
If you think I’m being overoptimistic, just look at those who bought during the dark days of the early 1990s – and what happened to the value of their homes in the decade that followed. This time around, as then, confidence will eventually return – it’s all just a question of time.
The Frosts feature in a Credit Crunch Special edition of Location, Location, Location, in which my television co-host, Kirstie Allsopp, and I look at the property troubles of three sets of people, who represent three different groups affected by the current market.poppy100 -

I didn't mind them until the last series. The vast majority of people just didn't see prices falling and I could very easily put P&K in that bracket. They are property-finders and tv presenters not historians or economists.
But I would have thought that it was obvious at the time that the last series was filmed that prices were dropping like a stone and that the stamp duty issue was a load of nonsense. Yet they still pushed people into buying ludicrous properties for ludicrous prices.0 -
Kill, mame DESTROY! (with possible torture)
No!!!! Please don't suggest that! I've been mistaken for Krusty and I don't want to be tortured by someone who thinks I'm her!!!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

They can't be expecting anyone to watch - we'll all be watching Spooks on BBC1 surely
I expect the trailer for the show was deliberately misleading - bound to be something to do with the mortgage offer.
I used to quite enjoy LLL just because I like nosing around other people's houses but after they did an episode in South Devon looking at a few properties that I had looked at myself, it was hammered home that they do err sometimes talk utter drivel. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
