IThe problem comes in trusting millions of my fellow countrymen and countrywomen not to be exactly that stupid...

If people really are stupid enough to base their biggest financial decisions on discussions by a couple of entertainers, then I can't feel sorry for them.

Where do they get their stats from? They didn't show anywhere that had fallen more than 10%. London was only just over 5%. Very different from the Nationwide and Halifax figures aren't they?

I wasn't feeling sorry for them, its the possibility that they will be in sufficient numbers to affect the market, in the wrong direction for me...
  • Angela the BANKER says "its a time to be careful with your money"...

And Kirsty "don't try to make a fast buck, we all want a home of our own", but her face...she didn't believe a word she was saying...

Thats cos last year the two of them were saying 'In an ever rising property market you could find yourself making a tidy profit in a very short time. Keep your options open and be prepared to sell when the time is right to cash in on that profit'

You can imagine Krusty coming off air at the end of that hipocritical speech only to burst out laughing and say 'and if you believe that, you will believe that Phool and I do this from an informed standpoint you gullible suckers' lololol :rotfl:
