what feedback shall I leave? combined postage

I hate to leave negative feedback. But feel I want to with one seller.
I bought 2 items from them but they refused to combine the postage cost even thou they were sent together in the same packet. They charged me in £10 pound for 2 items that cost about £2.53(price on the envelope not much packing apart from the envelope) post together. I feel negative feedback would be justified but I don't which of the two items I should leave it for. Do leave for one or both? Or leave negative one and positive for the other. I want to be fair as possible but feel ripped off. Help! What would you do?
If you would hate to leave negative feedback then don't.
If the seller sent you the 2 items that you bid for and for the price that you bid at, then they have kept their side of the contract.
By posting the 2 items together they may have made an extra 40p out of the deal - whoopee doo :j .
Buyers are getting a bit 'neg' happy now that they know they won't get one back.

The seller would have made at least an extra quid or two from combined postage...as every extra 250g with Royal Mail only costs about 50p...and the seller also saved on packaging etc. I think it's cheeky to post 2 items together and charge postage twice, and I'm a business seller on eBay who does very little buying, so I don't think it's a case of being 'neg happy' - I think they're outright unfair!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
The seller would have calculated postage on having to send out two parcels. Sending them in one package was saving him time and money - more than 40p. If he had sent you two parcels then clearly you would have no cause for complaint.
I sold two items to the same person recently. They paid by paypal without querying the postage costs but I refunded part of the cost because I felt it was fair.
Feedback is there is assist future purchasers - i'd want to know if combining postage was an issue. I'd probably leave neutral in this case.0 -
personally, as a buyer, I would like you to leave honest feedback: this then helps me when I am buying to see where ebayers are not being nice to buyers or overcharging etc.
If you feel the items were fine, state that. If you were unhappy with non combined postage, state that- it takes some practice to get it all onto one ebay sentence! but it can be done.
Received fine, but not combined postage yet sent all in one parcel??
or
Not happy about postage fee: two items, one parcel, two postage fees
or
non combined and expensive postage! happy with items though
could be here all day!!0 -
It Is More Than 40p.... I was charged £10. He paid Royal Mail £2.53. That is £7.47 that I have paid extra. Ok that doesn't include packing, which of been a couple pence more. But it's still over £5 i'm out of pocket. I think £5 is enough to complain about. Plus it is just plain cheeky0

Whilst that is possible, I dont think making fraudulent claims is the way to go with this0 -
i would definatly leave negative feedback because of the fact he charged you for two different items postage but he packed them together. if you asked him to combine and he said no but did it anyway i would definatly put negative feedback for both items.June 22 wins -

Sellers often use the p&P charges to cover the ebay/paypal costs (though technically they shouldn't). Its no different to the way amazon marketplace works whereby the price of postage is fixed. and you don't get combined postal discount.
To me a postive is an option with DSR ratings for postage poor. Neutral would fair in some ways . Negative unfair as the items were as expected you got them for a price you were willing to pay and the seller had told you he wouldn't combine postage.0
