Successful ICESAVE Claim

For most systems leading zeros makes no difference, if the number without leading zeros was accepted by the system then it should be OK, it validated and found your account - was the balance correct ?

The balance was fine, I just have to wait to see if the money turns up in my account in the 5 working days....good luck to everyone else waiting for the e-mail/transfer to be completed!

yes it would seem that they need to pick up the pace a bit, 300,000 investors, 17 working days left till Dec 4th, I make that 17647 claims a day..



..of course disregarding the few successful claims that have already gone through..,

I can confirm Icesave depositors will be compensated randomly. A friend of mine owns a haberdashery next to the FSCS head offices, the Chief Executive went in the other day and bought 250,000 straws and a pair of scissors. I fear this selection process maybe lengthy.;)

Nearly 20 on this forum is probably a high percentage considering that most of the Icesavers are not registered here. In fact probably have never heard of MSE

I am not so sure about that TBH, MSE is a very busy forum indeed with some 411,258 registered members of whom some 6846 are active at the moment, that is a lot compared to many forums, I imagine that at the time of the Icesave crash a great deal of worried people found this place and joined up many of whom are still taking part because they are concerned at getting their cash.

Considering the number of Icesave customers who post here regularly I would expect to see a lot more than 20 reporting having received their 2nd emails.
