Had a bit of a scare when I checked in the garage to see if it was defrosted this pm only to find it was still stiff:eek: but have had it in cold water for the rest of the day and now its fine... its resting in the oven with a nice foil blanket waiting for me to switch on at 5 am:eek:

I bought mine Thursday and left it in a coolbox in the shed. Yesterday Morning (Saturday) it was still frozen solid  It spent yesterday evening in the kitchen unwrapped and thankfully it was defrosted by this morning.

It's now cooked, sliced and waiting to go into the fridge for tomorrow :)
Just run, run and keep on running!

I suppose it depends where you are defrosting it - but I would do it for at least 48 hours in a cool place
We all evolve - get on with it
  • Sunday morning should be enough time ;)
  • well it will never fit in the fridge and my fridge would probably take a week to defrost so it is going to have to sit on the draining board in the kitchen, cos of the extention i am having built the kitchen is quite cold a medium chicken in my kitchen would probably take about 24 to defrost
