  • Have to say thanks although I did remember to take out my turkey today, this post reminded me to prepare my Maderia sauce for tomorrow night which meant steeping cherries in liquer and fruit juice/zest. If it wasn't for this post, I would have forgotten!

    I took the goose out yesterday, and its defrosting in the fridge, so should be ready tomorrow!!!!!
  • I took my turkey out yeserday so I could get everything else in, but it had already thawed out by this morning. I have put it in the shed and am hoping we dont get a heatwave.

    Thanks for ths post, not havin Turkey but reminded me I still needed to go to collect the meat from the farm !!

  • Took my turkey crown out yesterday afternoon, and put into the fridge. Just checked and it is still solid ! Will have to put it in the conservatory - anyone know if a frost is expected tonight ?

  • Our Turkey's already in the oven! We're having our own little xmas dinner here before we do the marathon round of relatives tomorrow :)
