What's your car?Sorry
just thought i'd ask too as get sick of having leaking cars - last one leaked through the sunroof so you had to sit on wet seats each time
...as long as Beinerts doesn't mind?!

All air-con systems use an air dryer, yours will do the job fine...but check the carpet for damp and mould (see above post!)
I will do. I have a feeling the moisture could have been building up for a while so I may need to replace the carpet and/or underlay. Oh joy!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -

Bit of tin, bit of board - put em together and get a Ford
Escort - over 10 years old - so not that surprising that it's leaking really
But passed MOT with no welding work needing so hopefully less perforated that the last much older one (which was an F reg!!). Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -
No help for you then

Pretty useless unless the leak is straight onto the gel/cushion and will be sodden in a day if its raining hard. Fix the leak first, rather than try soak up the leak as its coming in!
I Think I've stopped the leak, will have to check tonight. That was obviously the first job!Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0 -
The underlay soaks the moisture up so that may need replacement, but usally the carpet will dry easily. They have a certain amount of waterproofing inbuilt so wont let water up or down through the material. Hopefully they are available seperately!I will do. Also had an old 106 that did the same

It's not my fault it leaks down the door panel and inside the boot. Still better than the last one that leaked from the sunroof all over the seats!!!
eventaully used duct-tape to stop ANYTHING getting in or out through the sunroof! The door seal may just need a similar fix if the inner plastic sheet stopping water coming through has broken/been taken off? :A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. If you can get your car near to a powr supply, get the loan of a domestic carpet shampooer, use that on wet mode to get the overwhelming majority of water out.;)0
