MONEY MORAL DILEMMA. Would you dent someone’s car if they blocked you in?

No - I would feel so guilty at damaging someone else's car. I would probably sit and wait until the car owners returned. I would hate someone to damage my car, so wouldn't deliberately damage someone else's car.0

the job i do means i drive all day, if i parked up and then someone blocked me in, i would do my best to find them, but yes i would out of anger for delaying me i would do something to the ignorant gits car, why wouldnt you, are we to civilised ? if someone parked accross your drive way, and you needed to get out urgently what would you do? stand there twiddling your thumbs saying oh gosh i have to much respect to do anything ? NO you would be bloody livid, anyone who says they would be ok with it is talking trash so they look good on here.
love me or hate me, thats my opinion.

It would depend on the circumstances. I would normally park far enough away from others to allow room to manouevre. If the two cars had parked so close to me that I couldn't move, I would try & push one or other gently first. If neither would move, I would ring the police and see if they could do anything. If they couldn't/wouldn't, I'd resort to whatever was required to get out. Peple who are so inconsiderate don't deserve respect.0

I was in this situation 2 years ago when in York visiting a construction site.
Having parked on a public road adjacent to the site to attend a meeting a moron subsequently & purposely parked so close to the front of my car that bumpers touched.
Unfortunately I drive a German sports car and as such would cause more damage to my vehicle than his 'wreck' had I attempted to push it out of the way.
Anyway with the help of local residents I managed to manoeuvre free after approx 20 minutes.
The sad part is that the driver of the other vehicle was totally oblivious to just how lucky he was (my steel erectors had left site before me, had this not been the case he would have returned to find his car suspended from a 30 tonne mobile crane).0 -
It does not seem legal to dent someone's car if they block you in. However, they can expect a few **** words when they come and see me in a foul mood sitting in my car three hours later waiting! However I have not yet passed my test, so I have not been in this situation. People need to think more when they are on the road.0

Thinking and driving seem to be mutually exclusive where I live. I could swear that some of the drivers are zombies.
Perhaps they heard the "don't drink and drive" campaigns incorrectly and thought they said "don't think and drive".
Conversely, I wonder if the "Think!" campaigns made them turn to drink driving.0 -
If two drivers were so arrogant as to block me in then I would definitely give them a "gentle nudge". Someone did this to a friend of mine, who later went back in a pick up truck and dragged one of the "offenders" cars to a roundabout where he promptly dumped it!!!:rotfl:0

If someone was to block me in i would see if i could find them to get the car/cars moved if that failed i would gently bump the car at the rear of me as i have a small scrape on my rear bumper already . and if i damaged the car at the rear of me then that is there look out as they should not have parked that close to me in the first place:T0

my husband (this is on a private airfield, bear in mind) was so cheesed off with an inconsiderately parked motorist that he picked up the car with a forklift and put it on top of an old disused bus!0
