.............and you wonder why people dont come here for advice, absolutely disgraceful.0

            LOL.
It didnt stop her using her PC until past midnight last night and then again today at 10am+.
She was worried about feeding her children in the dark, but using the PC until late at night is just fine.
That is actually quite a valid point.
OP have you managed to get any further today? What about with the bank? Hope you got it sorted.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000

shes making her £50 tax credit stretch thats for sure!
Good on her for managing her money! I hope she takes it forward, it seems not being able to manage her money got her in this position. Theres hope for her yet!maybe it was a 'friends' pc she was usuing?!
Quite the reverse. She managed to entertain last night, she had a friend over in the evening (see post #106) which she stated :had my friend read over it last night
Not bad for someone less than 12 hours earlier was worried about feeding her children in the dark?!
She managed to entertain a guest and stay on the PC until past midnight!
Me thinks we do not get the full story here......

 <shrugs> Whatever.
We are all here to give advice. We expect nothing in return. We give our time here for the sake of others.
I did give advice she thanked me for. See post #4, she actually thanked for me for my contribution!
When I pointed out a few home truths, she didn't like it and turned.

The thing is people dig their claws in and wont let go. If people see a flaw in a post then show it and make the offender look silly, but dont get personal.........thats my view
Edit : Its the geninue people I feel for, they come to the boards and dont want to post because they see others getting ripped to shreds.0

Normally I would agree that people should not be using the benefit system, however, Boppy did work (husband looked after toddler) until early this year. She may have been made redundant - a good cause to feel depressed?
She never stated the cause of the depression but did laugh at some people's attempts at playing medical professionals. It seemed not to occur to posters that she may have had a miscarriage and the depression is linked to that, ie another pregnancy will be more traumatic but in the end it will help ease the depression.
All in, when people do make wrong assumptions, OP's do get defensive and re-act to those assumptions without thinking carefully. In Boppy's case the comment over the electric was possibly just trying to explain it isn't easy to continue a week on unexpected half (?) income. As not being on IS for long she will have found it harder to adjust than the long-term claimants. Finally, I didn't think she meant she shouldn't have to repay the crisis loan - comment was a pressure reply, I think she actually meant she should be able to repay at the same rate she is gradually reducing the overdraft at.0

well obviously there is because even though you are aware of the rules you are choosing to completely ignore them.I commented because this attitude stinks. I do usually keep to the subject and am fully aware of the rules so there is no need to quote them.
as for the electricity issue, !!!!!! maybe just maybe she managed to borrow a bit of money, £5 on an electric key lasts a day at least. I have "talked" to boppy via pm (was conserned and wanted to know she's ok today, lets face it the last thing anyone with depression needs is the lynch mob she got here) and the situation re payments has now been resolved.
I used to think that DT was the most judgmental place on MSE, I was wrong, this board wins hands down.:rolleyes:0
