ICE SAVE - 2nd E Mail Received

As of this morning all my money that was in Icesave has appeared in my bank account from FSCS, and I have to give FSCS full credit for what has been, for me, a very efficient process - they have kept me regularly informed throughout and I have had no cause for sleepless nights whatsoever.0

If you dont need the interest until the end of the term I would have thought it was a no-brainer!
All other things being equal: Ditto IMHO.0 -
Has anybody built up a picture yet of when these 2nd e mails are sent out....is it all day?, is it between 12:00 and 2:00. or when?. would be handy to know then we could relax and look at something else on the internet, as well as e mail all the time.sanfly0

This is the problem, we need the FSCS to give us up to date information, if we knew what was happening such how many they are sending per day and when it might be it would be a lot less frustrating than we are finding it just waiting in hope!:mad:0 -

The old Icesave cut off for days counting towards the transfer period was for them to have to get the instruction by 11am. So far as I can see nothing has changed as the whole operation is still being run by Newcastle Buildings Society using the client management account for Icesave with Barclays Bank (a member of staff at NBS on their FSCS Icesave phone line confirmed the account arrangements were the same).
But as BACS is normally two working days (that is two working days on from the day of the instruction being made but three actual working days are involved) if money was sent on Fiday it should have got here today. So I reckon not initiated till Monday getting here tomorrow (Wednesday 18th November). If not a big fuss to be made with FSCS as I will reach my bank overdraft limit within the next 3 or 4 days and I do not want to have to deinvest my one year Cash ISA bond with Nationwide 6 months early (interest penalty) and lose the ISA wrapper permanently.:eek:0 -
I've been using this forum to keep sane but not posted before.
I received my 2nd email last Friday (1 easy access and 1 fixed which I'm leaving in). The email was sent at 16:36 but I found it after 6 pm so I missed that day's transfer run.
My easy access cash was in my bank account this morning which is day 3.
For the compilers of statistics, my surname begins with H, I live in Cornwall, I opened my accounts in January 2007 and the first email was sent at 19:41 on 4 November.
Good luck to all those who are still waiting.0 -
Received my 2nd email on Saturday and 09:23 and got my money back in my account this morning.
My surname begins with L and I live in Nottingham. Account opened in May 2008.0 -
