dwileflunker wrote: »Well I've read most of NonGeographicalMan's posts and I note that along with all the dribble he writes he also regularly accuses people of being Trolls. The reality is I think he is probably the Troll because he very rarely posts anything about the original thread and simply tries to be confrontational. Still if that's the limit of his inteligence so be it.
Whenever I see him post he's usually picking on someone and making erroneous assumptions about them purely based on their username/avatar/profile etc. It's quite scary and almost verges on stalking behaviour at times! Madness!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Have anyone who have more than 1 linked accounts received the second email this week and initiated the claim with FSCS?
I had two Icesave accounts: an easy access account and an ISA. With both, I was given the choice of making the transfer to either of my linked accounts via a drop-down list. In fact one of the linked accounts appeared twice in the list.0 -

There was no option for post for the ISA was there? Just the linked account. Or have I just messed up and lost my tax-free status.0 -
Perhaps nongeographicalman is lost and swirling around in a whirlpool of his own bile.:D0

If I read it right, I think you should receive your funds into your nominated account within 5 days. Then, you will receive an ISA certificate from FSCA within 2 weeks which you can then send to the ISA provider you want your money transfered to0 -
funny world innit!
come on here to find out whats the latest position concerning fscs e-mails and you get the usual.
go through 28 pages to get an overall opinion, it just amazes me the amount of petty point scoring and bickering that goes on! most of which bears no adherence to the original thread.
is it any wonder that a lot of people skip through all this dross and ask the same question again. they then get the usual rude comments from the bully boys moaning about this-I WONDER WHY?0 -

If you look at my Thanks score in relation to my number of posts you will find that there are plenty of people who have found a lot of my posts to contain relevant and useful material.
I have only called anyone a troll who first accused me of having that characteristic.
My observation of both you Chameleon and of dwilefunker is that you seem to derive great pleasure from conspiring as a kind of organised forum bully boy gang. I suspect this is probably because neither of you have anything else in your sad and empty lives to amuse you.0 -

Yes I had two linked accounts and they let me pick either of them to make payments from a drop down list and it looked like I might be able to pay part of the money in the Icesave account to one linked account and part of it to another. At least that is how it looked but as I paid all the money to only one of my two linked accounts I can't be sure they will let you split the payments in practice.
However it does look as though you are not forced to withdraw all the compensation in one go and as though access to your Icesave account will still be permitted until you have withdrawn all the remaining funds in it.0 -

guli - we had two linked current accounts with Icesave (both of which were in joint names), an Icesave easy access account and 3 fixed term accounts. Both Icesave e-mails were sent to one specific e-mail address.0
