And is it not against the forum rules to keep repeatedly posting the same text in more than one thread, especially when the purpose of that action is deliberately malicious and inflammatory as yours quite clearly is.
Why do you pose as a new forum member when your specialist cat in a hammock logo clearly suggests you are a very old hand at baiting other forum members for your own perverse satisfaction.0 -

Oh, here we go again!
Why are you so fixated with people's avatars???? Do you honestly believe that every avatar displayed on this forum is unique to each person? :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I logged on again today to ICESAVE and see that interest has been added to my account, but it won't let me initiate a claim yet. Guess I will have to wait for that second e-mail!
Poor Martin, he 'recommended' ICESAVE, that is why I chose it! But, to be fair, he merely pointed out it paid the highest 'no-strings attached' interest rate. The UK government also recommended the bank to Councils as I understand it!0 -

Now it turns out people are suffer ing an unpredictable loss that depends on how efficient the FSCS is or isn't in paying out and the random order in which the FSCS has decided to pay out to different investors over a period of up to 3 or 4 weeks. Surely no one designing a fair compensation scheme would design it this way?
You should feel lucky that the FSCS is paying out where ICESAVE and the Iceland government have not!
I am still awaiting a payout following the collapse of Exeter Fund Managers nearly four years ago - and it is a lot more more than you could have put in an ICESAVE ISA!0 -

I would have thought if they had done that then the government would be paying compensation to the councils in question. More likely the government recommended that councils looked round to get the best possible rates on their cash deposits rather than leaving them only getting 2% or whatever with NatWest and Barclays.0 -

Wasn't that on a high risk geared investment trust rather than on a cash deposit account though.;)0 -

Winging and whining achieves nothing!0 -

Following this forum for quite a while, I consider Non Geographical Man is about the only contributor able to put together a coherent English sentence. More than that, he makes sense.
Attack me too if you like for supporting someone who the majority clearly do not like, but you would be wasting your time as I don't care and can't be bothered to retaliate. I have better things to do with my time.0
