I would imagine the vast majority of people who have IceSave accounts haven't registered on here. Although, I think a much higher percentage will be reading the forum.

Oh, and I haven't had my second email either.

Yes, I keep forgetting there is a vastly higher amount of people receiving the weekly email than those registered on the forum.

  • Hi anybody,I have not received 2nd email as yet,but logged in to icesave to print off accounts since updated. All accounts showing 'initiate' against them.Hit 1 button but couldn't go any further. Why have they put 'initiate'beside account if you can't.I guess I must be more patient.

It does no harm. You just get a message saying if there are no options to go any further you need to wait for the 2nd email.

You should've read the small print:

"Clicking on the "initiate" link before you have received your second e-mail message will result in your claim being shifted to the back of the queue, and processed after other claimants (if any) have been reimbursed."

Are the FSCS having a day off today? I've not seen one report of a 2nd email received today. I really thought today was going to be my day too. :o
  • Well my money has arrived in my nominated account

Does it have to be transferred to my new ISA or can it just be moved across?

You will need the certificate of tax free status first

I am still waiting for my 2nd email. Wife received hers yesterday and has already requested a claim to our link account. She has moved her ISA and have also moved our joint Easy access savings account. What a relief at least she has now have to wait for the funds to reach to our link account and her certificate from FSCS for the reinvestment of her ISA.
