:grouphug: to everyone.
Got to say I agree with Buffy that there seem to be very few truly happy relationships.. Luc, you are very lucky, but you also went through carp times with ex so you deserve to have found that happiness, never feel bad about talking about it. Personally, I think I've found as close as I'll ever get - I've never felt this close to someone or so well matched in every way (and it's not all been perfect, there's had to be a lot of talking on the way)... it's just unfortunate (or bloody typical of my luck!) that the circumstances are far from ideal, and I can't see them changing any time soon.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

No you havn't Maz. thanks.
Am I confused? Yes.
As I said before, why does it take the possibility of it all going down the tubes for OH to suddenly 'come to life'? Its not as if I suddenly changed, its just that I've told her where I stand. If by doing that, SHE suddenly changes the way she reacts with me, then am I wrong in thinking that she should have been like that BEFORE.
Who's being shallow? Who knows
edit
been together 26 years!!!!
I think, she was probably happy pootling along and didn't want to rock the boat? Maybe she seemed ungrateful for the nice things you do because she is one of those insecure women who don't think that they are worth the fuss?
and once faced with the threat of losing you did what ever it took to keep you happy?
Pepe please bear in mind my hamsters could give better relationship advice/suggestions then me.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
