Phew, just caught up whist watching homes under the hammer (DH very sensibly suggested I watch mindless things like that cos I often can’t settle to follow programmes at night!)

Had a mixed day. Walk this morning was lovely, chilly and windy but a real privilege to have a job which gets me out and about like that. Had a fight with the printers this aft but eventually got everything I needed done. But then I had a horrendous journey home – took over 2 hours, all got chucked off the dlr in the middle of nowhere, my only options were to wait or to walk to Greenwich including through the foot tunnel which I didn’t fancy in the dark with heavyish bags and tired feet. I eventually got home, thankfully DH got on with dinner so it was ready when I got in. Anyway, washed it all away in the bath!

    Hi to all the newbies

Cheapskate – the list for each day is added to the first post so you don’t have to read right through to find it!

Pigpen – I went for my smear after your nagging prompting, funny thing was I was a year too early!! She did it anyway though.

Julie – not surprised you are so tired in the evenings getting up so early.

    Mudbath – take it easy

Gryfon – what kind of jewellery do you make?

Dusty – DH’s wii died and it was still under warranty so Nintendo collected it and I think replaced it. I’m thinking of getting MBTs for Christmas. A lady on my walk today was extolling their virtues..

Mudbath - was me who suggested wii play & nunchuck, glad you got it

Lil_me – hugs and glad you found the iron

Haribo- don’t worry if you can’t do everything each week – the beauty of flying is that it all comes round again sooner or later (usually sooner! ;)) so as the American flylady says you don’t need to obsess!

Boddy – nice one on the change. I counted out a fiver in coppers last night

Valli – great minds think alike, I was just going to suggest emailing the assignments to herself…

    Gnb – well done

    Toots – welcome back

Michelle - You lucky devil looking so young!!! You have made great progress well done, fingers crossed kitty improves and it's not too expensive. Only DS1s diagnosed officially, we know DS2 has issues which all specialists involved with him have stated are 'indicative of ASD' but we for years refused diagnosis as if they did his OT would have stopped, DS1 couldn't have it because he was diagnosed which was so frustrating. This has now changed, from April this year children on the spectrum here can have OT, but since April, everyone thought everyone else had refered him it seems.

rach ((hugs)) for you, what a horrible journey home.

g&b well done you!!! Yes still studying but with OU some courses (like the one I was on) run Jan-October, so we get Xmas off. I am changing what I am studying, going onto an open degree, need to decide what subjects to cover next.

Froddy, nice of you to have that understanding with parents, I met an old teacher of mine a couple of weeks ago who has since had 2 children, one has extreme behaviour issues and learning problems, he said 'he's the little boy I always feared teaching and now I feel bad about fearing such wonderful children' I remember being scared stiff of him, he was extreme on discipline, but he seems to have mellowed, a lot.

Thanks for the support everyone, I just feel weird, I can't even explain it, sure I will be better tomorrow.

Speaking of children, they aren't asleep, are being a pest, bet they are a pest to get up in the morning too! Need to sort them and start tea, decided to change plan and do enchilladas with extra cheese for comfort, nomnom. TTFN.....

oops, forgot to mention flying - no time tonight, but washed up (well DH did most of it, i did the plates from dinner :rotfl:) and WM is on.

Will do DH's lunch later - i'll get mine as i'm on a course for the next 2 days. LR should be done tomorrow though I'm doing girls brigade as well so might not have long.

Re remembrance day, in a way I was less engaged than previous years as not working for church. I always think of my second cousin who was killed at deepcut barracks when he was only 17

On a completely different note- friend has advised lego for godson's Christmas, anyone know of good offers?
