rach there is some lego stuff on Boots 3 for 2 which combined with points offers etc that come through and cashback via greasypalm can be good for deals this year. Woolworths have some in their sale. I think Argos did aswell.

Silence, forgot about that, I was in the supermarket, I could see a poor guy look scared when they said about the silence as he had a 'vocal' toddler with him but he got through the checkout and out (let him go through) many stood and observed, some ignorant people talked their way through and were faced with stern looks, one ignorant old pig screamed at the checkout woman 'I don't giv a **** about the silence serve me now you lazy *****' as it was about to start, I was stunned! The young girl turned her back and closed the till gate so he left, think that showed him.
One day I might be more organised...........

Evening everyone, not much done on the flying front here as have been out most of the day building the coop (hopefully get it finished tomorrow) then everything will return to normal.:rotfl:

Course stuff all sorted for tomorrow as are uniforms and bags, bad day monday trying to get out the door. DS2 still has an awful cough seems alot worse at night, hoping the cough med will kick in soon.

Right i should get to bed but been watching ''My family at war''.

    GnB well done.
Toots good to see you back.
Michelle thats great news on the cat front.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • evening ladies,
The trip to the vets was good. The vet gave him a thorough exam, and an antibiotic shot as he thought it was likely a bladder infection though thankfully not stones again. Next step is to see if that sorts him, and if it clears the weeing issues, then have him sedated and his fur shaved to remove the matted clumps, then we should hopefully manage him and not have him put down. I'm hoping it's not too pricey, but we'll have to see how it goes. 1st thing to laugh at me about is i have to get a cat urine sample next week, and although the cat is dopey, he knows not to use the cat litter tray when i put this stuff in - but the vet receptionist gave me some ideas to try.
The assistant refused to serve me though as i didn't have ID. That made my day as i have never been asked before ever, even when we used to go out before 18. Guess i had best start putting some ID in my purse as my sister said she has noticed at work more refusing to serve people who are obviously old enough.

Hi Michelle arent you lucky being asked for ID - whats the secret then come on spill the beans to your pals - what keeps you so young looking? and dont dare say good living that would be boring - something like daily sex would be a good start!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I havent caught up yet but I guess you have had probs with moggy - glad you have got help from the vet but I am so sorry for laughing but the vision of you trying to get a sample from him made me PMSL!!!! Tell moggy he is in good company because I have the same from being at MUm's - happens every time!!!

Toots you will have to go back to the lastday of last week's thread if I remember rightly - one of her DDs went to Legoland and one should have but didn't as a punishment...she's had enough!

I'm still here - just. I have an evil, nasty, 'orrible cold thing coming. Was Ok when I woke up but by the time I got to work I wasn't so well. Managed to finish stuff off and sort out my desk in between coughing and fever induced sweats. Did the drum head service - v. emotional but also v. ummm .. involved a lot of willpower. Every time I bent my head in prayer and then straightened up again it was a case of Woahh! did the horizon move or was it just my brain not catching up with my eyes quickly enough? I was determined NOT to fall into a heap onto the ground. That would have been embarrassing!

Left in the end around lunchtime and have spent the majority of the rest of today wrapped in a blanket in the armchair feelling yukkk. Did manage to do some dinner and eat it. But am still feeling yukkkkk so am off to bed in a mo.

Sorry I've not caught up at all. Will try harder tomorrow
