Valli's spot on, cheeky minx DD1 had pushed me too far... d'you remember in half term I said I'd had enough? So I cracked the whip, and got back on top on things. She had a sleepover cancelled, and she wasn't allowed to go on her trip to Legoland. Shame... not!

In honour of my 'meaness' I decided I'd start a club, for Mean Mummies who Set and Stick to Boundaries! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Having started it, I'm not quite sure what to do with it! :rolleyes:

I've not got an awful lot more done since i last posted. I went to Tesco then woolies to pick up Ds2's xmas presents , then lunch with my Sisters.

I got home and some numpty had parked in my space outside my house:mad: . I had an asleep 2yr old, a weeks shopping and 3 massive presents in the car. Annoyed was not the word:rolleyes: . I had to park in the middle of the road where cars could only just squeeze past while i unloaded everything then find somewhere to park. It's so annoying, because i live down the road from the train station people park outside out houses instead of paying for the car park:mad: .

Then, i was unpacking the shopping when OH phoned and asked if i had heard from Ds1 as he wasn't there when he went to pick him up from school:eek: . I tried not to panic and said wait a while and see if he shows up as the time OH picks them up has only just changed from 3.20 - 3.05 ( they wanted to go into town after school for a bit but don't anymore as it's too cold:rolleyes: ). At 3.40 OH phoned again and said he'd waited and looked everywhere he could think of and he couldn't find him:eek: :eek: ( now i was worried ). Just as i was on the phone to the school to see if he had a detention he'd forgotton to tell me about he rings the doorbell. He'd walked home and claims he told me the night before he was going to:mad: :mad: ( he didn't as my answer would have been no). So he's not in my good books now. It's a long way home along a busy main road and he hasn't got a phone or anything any more.

Huge hugs Lil_me - I havent seen the problem yet but I gather its with one of your DS's - I am sorry - and you didnt need it after everything else thats been going on.

Never mind the kids it seems I will have to crack the whip on you......oo er that didnt quite come out right!!!! I will have to start the MFSB the mean friends who set boundaries (for the good of your health of course!!!!) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Congrats to you for sticking with it - you will see the good of it in time and she will calm down I'm sure -what about starting a thread for the group and posting why you did it and the punishments - I'm positive you will get other MUms in the same boat who would love to share their experiences!!???

Level 3
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Open the drawer where you stuff all your junk.. especially the stuff from the pc desk.. sort it and shred it!! .. you know who you are!!!

Wednesday Wobblies - Master bedroom!
Level One
Strip the linen and wash them
Fling open the window and let the room have some air!!
Level Two
Vacuum & turn the mattress before replacing the clean covers
HHC clearing the mess and gibble
Deweb and defuzz the room.. don't forget to do the bed base!
Level Three
Vacuum the bedroom and the landing
Sort through a cupboard and get rid of anything that is past its best.. especially those summer things that won't be worn next year
Fill a binbag for charity shop.. they are crying out for stuff!!
Extras
Go to bed early!
Hug a friend
Do something really crazy!! .. puddle jumping or singing all the way home from school or work

Funnily enough I lost my pendrive this morning. I keep it on my keychain and I didn't half panic as it has photos of the kids in school on. Turns out it was in my coat pocket :o

Hello to all the newbies, hugs all around as I've completely forgotten what I was going to say :o

O*S**D managed to collar me this afternoon after the class teacher said "oh we've already been done so you should avoid her with no problem" :rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl: Fortunately I knew exactly what I was doing and the kids I was working with jumped in and answered the questions before I could :rotfl::rotfl: Didn't help though that my response was delayed due to the cracking pain I had in my face/ear (Thats sorted now though, I've got a build up of catarrh behind the eardrum so I'm wobbly and in pain but on antibiotics :rolleyes: )

Right, I'm going to have to head to bed. Flying is going to have to wait for tonight.
