I know EXACTLY what your talking about but i have an even BETTER problem i have a train station at the bottom of road (exOH reckons about 70 yards away) its on one of the busiest commuter lines in the country apparently and this station is 2 stops from the city centre... and it has NO CARPARK AT ALL...... :mad: :mad: :mad: Hundreds of people use the station every day and as many need somewhere to park they use our road. There is only 1 resident who has a car that needs to park on the road as he has no drive way, but every day the road is full of cars bumper to bumper and usually with half the car parked on the pavement :rolleyes: Almost everytime i take sarah out in the buggy I have to walk into the road because i cant get past on the pavement ! :mad: :mad: :mad: Its soooooooooo dangerous and theres been cases emergency vehicles havent been able to get up the road!! Im very tempted to contact my local politician (who happens to be our council leader too) because its getting ridiculous - theres lots of other mums with buggies and theres a lady in a wheelchair too - why should we have to walk in the road and put ourselves in danger so that people can park their big 4x4s and BMWs (so not like they are poor) and then pay trainfare of £2.10 instead of paying the £7 it is to park in town for the day!! :rolleyes:
