The week has flown by and it's Saturday - but I'm here - have just jotted down all the Level 1 jobs from Tues to Friday - and added a few of the extras to do too. Thanks so much for the inspiration :) Will try harder! I have emptied bins during the week, swept floors, wiped surfaces, swished the loo a few times, wiped the cooker over .... maybe I'm not too bad.....
Sunday evening - and I've done it all! I got the twinkly cutlery drawer, and got my worktop so clean I am reluctant to use my kitchen at all! I moved two cardboard boxes full of clothes from the corner of my bedroom - which I have been meaning to do for ages because there is a mildewy smell - and found a wet patch on the wall there - so the boxes are going out for recycling tonight, and the clothes have been relocated to a damp-free part of the flat. Tomorrow is the start of another week! See you there!
Debt free by 22 January 2009 - thanks to an unexpected inheritance - take heart - it DOES HAPPEN!

The car is my people carrier thing which I love but it's too juicy for work, I do a lot of miles weekly. I have the ebay one for blatting about in.

Did Bertha lose the feathers by her back area, was your hen house full of feathers, like the fox had been in? :rotfl:

A neighbour has a friend round yesterday whilst I was cleaning the girls out and he asked if they were rescue chickens from a battery farm ......that's how bad Sam looked.:D

Brenda and Bertha have lost most of their neck feathers and their trousers, plus random bare patches. The other two are a few days behind - they are Marans so usually really attractive but they look like the cat has been at them. It just looks so uncomfortable and itchy. Their house is full of feathers even though they only sleep in it - have had to clean it out twice this week.

Johanne - you are not alone on the Christmas thing. Mine is partly by choice though, I refuse to go mad again this year. The tidying and de-cluttering recently has convinced me that they just don't bother with half the stuff so the big ones are having a big present plus chocolate, and the littles are having a couple of medium sized presents and that is it.

I feel exactly the same. Spent so long tidying and selling stuff they don't want/need/use that I am not undoing it all.

    Evening all,

Well last night went from bad to worse:rolleyes: . I settled SDS down and told him he had to stay as even if his Dad came home it was too late to go home. I went to bed and OH phoned at 1.30 am saying he was in Newport ( he was in Cardiff when i called him half hour before ) he'd got out of the taxi:confused: and he had no money left:mad: . ( I still haven't got to the bottom of why he got out of the taxi instead of getting it to come here so i could pay it, his story keeps changing:confused: )

So i had to phone my stepdaughter to come and look after the kids while i drove to get him:mad:   . By the time we got home it was 2.30am:eek: . To say i was not amused is an understatement:mad:    .

He stayed at his house and Ds2 got me up at 7, he meanwhile phoned me at 10.30 am when he got up to apologise. He was very sorry and said what can i do to make it up to you,so i said look after Ds2 so i can go back to bed.

He must be really sorry as he took all the boys out for the afternoon and i went to bed. I'm still annoyed though:mad: . He's a grown man he should have made sure he could get home, and the getting out of the taxi just doesn't make sense:confused: .

Oops sorry that turned into a bit of a rant:rolleyes: .

    Hugs to all the poorlies.

On topic;) i haven't done much today at all apart from dailies, oh well tomorrows another day.

I found it really, really disappointing in the end and wished I hadn't bothered to watch all the way through....

    Agreed.

I thought it was going to be a piece of china or furniture, not a lump of metal about 5 years old,
