Antiques Roadshow has an item with the highest ever valuation tonight, it's on 7.15 for an hour for those interested.

I found it really, really disappointing in the end and wished I hadn't bothered to watch all the way through....

ooh, a blank canvas then Tag! Waiting to see what you choose to do? Mr H responds well to bribes - equally responsive to edible, alcoholic, tools and physical reward  .

Tonight I am going to use my new found technical drawing skills and do a layout for the rooms so we know what we need to buy. Also need to measure the low and narrow original doorway (c65cm wide I think) to make sure I buy a shallow enough bath to get in without hassle, or we will be lifting the floorboards again.

I have just finished clearing up the construction mess and am having a well earned cup of coffee before I start the TD, DW and WM off again.

Triker - my hens are now officially moulting, so no eggs for a few weeks! I had to buy some from the co-op last night or I could not deliver cooked breakfast bribe  .

Sarah shattered - hugs for you, take it easy.

One of mine is too, she looks like I'm a bad mother :D, they look a bit shocking don't they.

Me too, re buying some eggs, I bought 1/2 dozen free range 'tother day from a farm shop, almost killed me to do it as they were £1.20.

Still getting 1 a day though and they are happy girls at mo as I did a bit of a redesigning of their pen.

    I love chickens I do.:D

I havent had time to keep up with the thread but I have been flying today ,,get rid of my extra energy ,, this is the time I need to clean.. as i have the energy to do it..:rotfl:

I got a JML halogen oven last night at asda and have just used it today and it was good ..everything you can do in the oven you can do in this ...except yorkshire puddings..

George the cat is sitting in front of me on the desk and i am having to look over him ..oh he is laying down now good :rotfl:

Now I AM intrigued - when that was posted with the US speliing of PARLOUR (ie without the 'u') it was replaced by exclamation marks.

Why? Presumably it has a 'dodgy' meaning but (naive person that I am) I have NO CLUE..
Valli did you find out the meaning in US ,,i havent a clue either :rotfl:
FlyFlower glad I made you smile and yes I think everyone on here
OH drilled through a live cable when he was trying to get the upstand fitted.

Triker  - not the best day for any of you then? You've not had that car long either have you?
Poor Bertha looks like she is oven ready around her neck, but you can see the little feathers starting to come back.

Lil me - thanks - one day the inside of the house will be lovely. Give us about 20 years, and the children leaving home.

Pictures are now on Facebook, just because it makes me feel like we have done something. Worst of the mess cleared but 20 rubble sacks left to shift yet. Also need to find a bathroom, fantasy is not matching financial or practical reality at the moment.

Help, forgot to put uniform in TD. Must go and do that right now or we will never go to bed.

Well the beds have swapped rooms and I've started moving all of DD's obscene amount of belongings into her new room. Had to stop now though as she's gone to bed all happy and excited. Bless.
I'm still not keen on the colour though under artificial light:rolleyes:

The upstairs of my house looks like at least half a dozen tornadoes have been through it. So some serious flying/decluttering and binning going on there tomorrow.
DS new room won't take long though. Just need to paint the walls:j I really should go and clear [STRIKE]some[/STRIKE] lots of stuff off of my bed, else we won't be getting in it tonight!

The car is my people carrier thing which I love but it's too juicy for work, I do a lot of miles weekly. I have the ebay one for blatting about in.

Did Bertha lose the feathers by her back area, was your hen house full of feathers, like the fox had been in? :rotfl:

A neighbour has a friend round yesterday whilst I was cleaning the girls out and he asked if they were rescue chickens from a battery farm ......that's how bad Sam looked.:D

    ooo sorry.

sometimes though I do find that I miss posts because the forum 'jumps'me to the wrong place:confused: so if it was an unthanked post I didn't see it!

Glad he's doing well...hope it continues...

Incidentallly I am STILL getting 'minor glitch' problems. Anyone else?
