ooh candynana - congratulations - I'm a Nana too and dgs(3) has a little apron that tells the world that he's Nana's Little Helper - got it in Rosebys last year so look out for that - guessing she's a bit young yet though

I know I know - guess I'm not as great a speed reader as i thought - I was just thinking goodness doesn't time flyNot sure about dd - baby is small for dates but then she's vague about the dates in any case - judging by her bust about three months but hospital say nearer to 6 weeks LOL. The poor thing is sick sick sick but then I was with her so .......... revenge is sweet.
Not been around much lately - life got in the way and have had dd and dgs over quite a lot hogging the PC
I've given up weekly shopping as what with one thing and another I've barely cooked and/or eaten at home this week so will need to do a batch cook of anything salvageable tomorrow. I think from now on I'll meal plan and shop every couple of days. It's hard knowing who's going to be in as well.
dd(12) had a lovely day at SKY - recording a show about books - she got to meet malorie Blackman who has signed two books for her - one she came home with but the other the teacher will call me next week about as I gather the subject is adultish - well anything would be an improvement on the awful Angus Thongs rubbish she's into right now.
Going to Shepherd's Bush Market tomorrow so be ready for a lot of questions about yams, plantain and other exotica
Hugs all round - I'm a bit behind with news but gather that some are needed - have a great evening allI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Have not really been around for a couple of days as taking DD(23) to get warm coat for winter, jeans, waterproof boots and glasses after getting her eyes tested.
Have just seen her off to see her sister at uni for a few days before she goes back to work at Oxford.
Will really miss her but glad she is prepared for winter.
Made potato wedges, sausages and fried eggs in the Remoska for tea and left DD(19) with home made hobnobs and a small home made loaf as well as doing some food shopping for her.
Good luck to pennyP and Happy Birthday to scuzz, suesysue and catowens nan."This site is addictive!"
