    Morning all!

Sun is shining, well it is a bit! And it's a lot warmer today, might even get some washing dried outside!

Swished and swiped the kitchen, need to hoover, but it's upstairs and I couldn't be bothered to fetch it! Whizzed around picking up the rubbish that the kids left behind and dumped it in the bin. BM, DW and yoghurt doing their thing.

Lunch is sarnies, fruit, yoghurt, choc bar and cheese for the kids, will be leftover chilli from the freezer for me.

Dinner was meant to be pizza, but will be sausage plait as the kids have requested it and the sausage meat wouldn't go back into the freezer and let me close it last night, had to move it to find the ice cubes for my baileys!

Will be sorting through Chrimbo pressies later, like Kathy I seem to got a lot more done than I thought, so I need to put things into piles for each child to make sure they are roughly equal! They make a list of everyone else, need to sort out some bits for survival kits for a few friends too, will have a look on the special occasions thread for inspiration for those!

Happy birthday to Scuzz, Susiesoo and Catowen's nan!

Dorry, good luck on the job front.

Candy - will we be able to guess the results from the colour of your next post?!

Aussie - def burn your bra! We'll look out for you on you tube!

Essexgirl - I'm sure today will be very emotional, but it'll be nice to have the bureau as a tangible reminder. I hope that it goes well.

Taplady - thinking of your friend xx

Beemuzed - congratulations, got my statement today and was quite pleased, but nowhere near zero yet!

N9eav - glad your case went well, and congrats on the sweepstake win!

Diva and Kaat - good luck with the cars! I had a Ka as a courtesy car from the garage, they are lovely to drive, but very small, ok as I'm quite short, but not easy to get in and out of if you're tall I should think.

Ravylesley - thanks for the tip about using the apple braid dough, never thought of that, will have to make some iced buns over the weekend, yum!

Mrs M - hope your dd feels better soon.

Penpin - should you have time to ready this, I hope things go well today xx

    Good morning everyone,

I dont think she will be reading - but wanted to send Penny pincher all the best for her hospital visit - i hope all goes well and she is well enough for them to do all they need to xx

Lots of HUGS are needed, Taplady, Rzl and VickyA are the main ones i remember, so my thoughts are with you and your friends/collegues xx

MSD - thank you for reading/likeing the drivel i type!!! I love reading/posting on this thread, i just wish i had more time at the moment to do so more often!!!

Its now over an hour since i started typing this (the joys of childminding!!) so ive forgotton what else i was going to put - so huge ((HUGS)) and :hello: to everyone who wants/needs one xxx

Just the baby here at the moment, and she had her sleep before getting to me, so ive not had much time to do much so far today. luckily i got the bathroom and toilet cleaned before the school run, so any other cleaning can wait until baby has gone - shes much more important!!

Must say THANK YOU for all the happy birthday wishes for my wonderful Nan - she is at her OAP club this morning, and they have arranged for a band to come and the Mayor is coming to see her as well, i believe the 'telegram' (not sure they do them now, but it will be something) is delivered by the Mayor as well so she will have that presented to her. I think her children (my mum, her 4 brothers and 1 sister, 2 of the brothers have come back from Canada especially, and 1 is interupting his Chemo treatment to come and celebrate) are then taking her to lunch at a hotel, so hopefully she will have a lovely day. We will be going to see her tomorrow, they are having a party at a nearby pub for her, and i cant wait to see her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SusieSue and scuzz, i hope you both have great ones xxx

Right, i have to go, baby trying to attack the laptop!!

    Have a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It is a card now -very nice photo of the Queen with a gold tassle. It has a nice message. My gran had one from the minister of pensions as well. Gran was very scornful of the Queen's card saying 'as if she cares' -good old Gran:rotfl: She was very pleased really and showed it off to all her friends. Hope your nan has a fab day.

I'm just having a coffee break. I've done the leaf raking and sweeping and honestly feel like I've had a good work-out. Lots of lunging with the rake and pushing wet leaves with the broom as well as carrying baskets of leaves to the compost. I'm therefore not going to do my exercise dvd:D

Must get on with me jam;)

    :hello: Good Morning!

Just back from dr's - I had the pnuemonia vaccine which should protect me for life!:D Might have a poorly weekend though :( fingers crossed I don't. Dr hasn't signed me off yet, my results were borderline and he is sending me for more tests:eek: so more needles next week!

Happy Birthdays to Catowens Nan, Suesy Sue and Scuzz :bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:

Going to get a soup going in the sc to use up some more of frozen veg in the chest freezer. Stir fry tonight to use up the fresh veg! Fruit crumble or Cobbler tonight as well (that should take care of some of the frozen fruit)

My sister has sent me some lovely Christmas card making stuff!:jso I'm off to play with that.

Big (((Hugs))) to Pen pen, Pen pin, Taplady, VickyA and Essex girl.

    Catz x

Morning everyone. Happy birthday to Scuzz, Susey Sue and CatOwens nan.

Day in work for me, fairly busy as well, makes a change. Tea is chicken curry from the freezer, (this batch cooking works) and lunch is leftovers from last night.

Managed to fill the freezer yesterday with meat bought from the butcher & supermarket, £20 over spend, but there was a lot reduced in the supermarket & I couldn't really leave it at that price. Its not going to go to waste, just means I'll be spending less next month. Still trying to get my head round the prices in the butcher's, very expensive on what I thought were the cheaper cuts of meat.

Sorry, I've spent so long read various threads I really don't have time for a post:o

But I wanted to wish catowen's gran a very Happy 100th birthday  Enjoy your time with her tomorrow:D

Will try to pop back later. Got visitors due in 20 minutes, and no work done yet. Quick spray with the furniture polish, and put a pot of coffee on methinks:p :rotfl:

    Hello All

Not posted on here for ages, but wanted to say thank you for all the birthday wishes.

Catowen - hope your Nan has a great day - she's three times older than me!!

Susie Sue - hope you have a fab day too.

Got some more toffee vodka on the go. Mum's made a load of apple chutney ready for Chrimbo. :xmassmile

Was very naughty and not at all OS and went to EuroDisney with a couple of friends for my birthday earlier this week. Had a great time.

Having scrambled egg on toast in a minute and not sure what dinner is but had pasta with tomatoes and sausages last night.

Organised a charity quiz night for last night. It went well and we raised over £230 with not that many people there, so really pleased, especially as it's my first attempt at such an event.

Paid in all my pennies to the bank - £45:T An £20 in £2 coins to my ISA. Not sure if I told you that last time I posted, but I'm thrilled so going to say it again:D

Hope everyone's ok, and hugs to anyone who needs them

Thriftlady this is probably a daft question, but what do you put in your jumbleberry jam? It sounds great!
