Ooh, make milk jelly (replace some of the water with milk - adds extra goodness, and tones down the taste a bit). Also, if she can eat something more solid, but boring would she eat Quinoa? Quinoa is very nutritious although fairly bland (and I like bland when I have a dodgy tum). Check out the nutrition paragraphs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinoa.0

Got a stupid hacking cough that wont go away. Sat here drinking hot lemon and honey, a chicken poaching ready to turn into chicken noodle soup. All will be well in the world.......................I am determined.

Chicken soup is also known as Jewish Penicillin. Excellent for colds and flu.
Failing that I have a bottle of cold original lucozade and a packet of rich tea biscuits.Cat :wave:0 -
Hi HypnoNu
At times I find (when I'm bothered/energy to lift a finger) sticking on a pot of HM style chicken soup.
Y'know, the clear one flavoured with carrots and onions.
When I can, I get a couple of packets of 'Winiary' chicken flavoured soup with noodles (can get these from Mr T in the World Foods section).
Stick left over pieces of chicken in a pot.
Add the packet mix and a pint of water.
Boils for 10 mins and eat up with a few slices on bread.
I find chicken soup settles the stomach when feeling nauseous or have no appetite.
And if you can, try boiling it with a bit of fresh chilli (not too much), just to boost you up a bit too.
Hope you recover soon, HypnoNu.
Get well soon.0
