When we were little it didn't matter if we had tummy ache, a broken leg or measles - we always had Oxo in a mug with lots of pepper and a lump of bread to dip in it:rotfl:0

Heinz tomato soup and cheese and toast always works for me (made by DH!). Strangely, I always feel like it when I come back from abroad as well. Best wishes to everyone who is feeling poorly.0

I have a large amout of fresh food in including loads of veg, protein etc however I haven't been feeling very well and as a result have only eaten sandwiches for the last few days.
Has anyone got any VERY easy meals I could make? I really need some nourishment. I can't really stand for more than a few mins at a time as it's very tiring hense the sandwiches. I will have prob everything in to make most things
Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Something in one pot maybe? Or something really easy? It can't take too much energy that's for sureFeb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -
When I am ill I always have Heinz tomato soup and cheese on toast - don't really have these at any other time! Maybe try a simple ommlette or tuna pasta. Hope you feel better soon.0

Thanks
I wonder if it might be good to try and make a baked risotto or a slow cooker thing tomorrow which I can just dump things into? That might give me some more veggies?

If you've got enough energy, how about a quick stir fry for today. Do it in 2 or 3 stages-gather ingredients-rest-chop veg-rest then cook it up. You don't say what protein you've got to use up but I'm pretty sure with rests inbetween you could finish it inside 30 mins? Good idea for the slow cooker tomorrow, even a hearty soup would be good. Can you maybe prep the veg sitting down to make it easier for yourself. Hope you feel better soon."Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
