what about time spent on the net electricity has to come off dosent it?
well.... I have a fixed payment for broadband which I'd pay whether or not I did bview, so I don't think that really counts. And electricity to run a laptop... nah, I don't count it. My laptop is plugged in anyway, whether I'm on bview or not. This may not be a very advanced method of accounting but it suits me fine!0 -

They are also really good with communication. They always reply to emails - usually the same day, sometimes the next day, but they DO reply so you aren't left feeling ignored!
That's good to know that they pay on time. Thanks.0 -
Signed up for Bview and wrote a review but can not see anywhere about getting paid or account details. Eg running total.... can anyone help??0

There's nothing that tells you about the mechanics of getting paid but I asked simon and he said to send my address - which I did. He said they ask people for their addresses when it comes to paying time.
Also, if you want to see what reviews you've done go to your profile and look at the left hand side. THere's a link to reviews, which has a number in brackets that shows how many you've done.0 -
Ok thanks for that, just didn't want to write reviews and not get paid.0

Just now I got an email from Simon from Bview. They have revised the scheme for March for writing the reviews. And here are the details from site,
Earn £5 for 15 Reviews!
The ever popular BView reward scheme is continuing this month. Taking part is easier than ever: just write 15 qualifying reviews and we'll send you £5.00.
Once you've added 15 reviews, contact Simon and he'll arrange for a cheque or Amazon voucher to be posted to you at the end of the month.
What makes a qualifying review?
It's not too tough, but we do set some guidelines to keep things fair. For your reviews to be eligible they must:- Be long enough. Reviews must be at least 150 words long and include a few relevant tags.
- Be a fair and balanced. A personal account of why you would (or wouldn't) recommend the business.
- Be relevant and timely. A review based on a 3 year old experience might not be representative!
- Be public. Anonymous reviews won't be counted.
- Be original! No copying reviews from other sites. We don't like that.
Local Experts earn up to £100 this month!
If your reviews are of exceptional quality, we may ask you to take part in our ongoing rewards scheme as a Local Expert. Qualifying gives you the chance to earn even more rewards for your reviews. Qualifying is solely at our discretion. After you have written your first 15 reviews, just tell Simon you would like to become a Local Expert.
Just a few conditions...
We don't like making long lists of rules and regulations but there are a few conditions you need to be aware of:- Keep a profile picture on your member profile. If you're feeling shy you can use an avatar instead! Have a look at BView's top people for an idea of what to use.
- Only qualifying reviews will be counted.
- Payment can only be made via cheque or an Amazon voucher sent to the reviewer's postal address. One voucher per household per month.
- Inclusion in any ongoing reward scheme is solely at the discretion of BView.
- BView retain the right to assess the quality of the reviews and make decisions accordingly. We also retain the right to adjust the promotion if needed.
- BView reserve the right to end this promotion at any time.

I emailed Simon again after the other day and he came back to me pretty much straight away, I have been paid for the reviews I did in February, so far I am impressed with them and will be doing more in March, although I think I will struggle with 300.
Is the 15 reviews for £5 only open to the people who are not local experts I wonder??0 -

Yes, it is, as far as I know. I think the email someone posted from Simon stated that they could email him later to ask if they could be made a local expert, so this deal is for anyone.0 -
£5 dosent strike me alot what do people think?:footie:0
