  • I just signed up to bview today, I don't mind doing reviews and it's good that you can do as little or as much as you like. The 150 word minimum isn't that much and can easily be done in less than 5 min. I am hoping this will up my takings for the £10 a day club:j

So they work out how many reviews you do and automatically send you payments? Or do you have to request payments? Also It says tell 'Simon' when you have reached a certain amount, do you do this every time you make a certain amount of reviews?

    Sorry for all the questions

They automatically send payments, though you need to contacy simon after your first 10 reviews or whatever, He will then upgrade you to local expert, or whatever they call it at the moment. You'll need to give him your address so he can send a cheque, though he'll contact you if he doesn't have it at payout time. I think they're great. The only thing is I sometimes run out of places to talk about! But you can always do other places in Britain, where you go on holiday etc.

    Hi Jayne!

You will need to tell Simon how you would like to be paid - Paypal or a cheque are the two most popular. You will find when you email Simon after your first ten reviews that he is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have that we haven't covered here.

You only have to check in with them after the first 10 so they can check your reviews are filling the criteria. After that you just keep reviewing til the end of the month.

You can keep track of how many reviews you have done by clicking your profile page and on the left it keeps track of the numbers for you.

If you want to see examples of others reviews then click on the 'People' tab and choose one of the top reviewers and read a few, it can give you a good idea of what they want.

    Thanks for the replies.

I have done my first 20 reviews and contacted Simon, so its a case of wait and see.
I have to say I found oit really enjoyable, and typing 150 words wasnt as hard as I thought, especially doing it on word and then copying and pasting so i could use the word check.
Mind you people that know me wouldnt be suprised becasue I can talk for England when I want to!!!!!

I don't think it's as well known as something like Qype... and also it lacks the community element that qype has - no chat or message boards.
  • Hi everyone,

Been reading about Bview and it sounds like a great site! I just wondered, could I sign up and add the reviews I already have on Qype? They are all good quality and over 150-200 words! I know that sites like Dooyoo and Ciao don't mind you using the same review on both sites, as long as it's all your own work and you state that you write for both sites in your profile - just wondered whether this was allowed on Bview too?

    Any help appreciated, thankyou xxx

I don't think so, in the Bview T&Cs it says that any reviews should not have been posted elsewhere.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
