You have permission to park there from the people responsible for the land, end of story! There is no loss and there is no point speaking roxburghe or graham white who will contact you next, they are the same company . They have never done court ever, just ignore the scammer ! And please post on a new thread next time as you may not get advice quickly in an old thread like this.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Maybe use some punctuation so we don't all run out of breath reading your post?!:rotfl:

...and not post a random question on a 'successes and failures' thread about REAL parking tickets...

This isn't a success or a failure and it isn't even a real parking ticket. Why not just go to the main forum rather than post on a (Council tickets) successes and failures thread? Reading the sticky threads which appear permanently at the top of any forum is always a good place to start. Top thread for starters.

The forum is always just a click away from whichever thread you are on. See my signature.

Just ignore Elite Manegement and all there money sucking cronies you owe them sweet FA they wont bother you apart from wasting there postage to send you begging letters for a few months or so
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • Yes, buddy, you can very safely ignore they will do absolutely NOTHING about this. They are nothing but SCAMMERS who write a few letters and then go away, if they ring again just tell them to eff off and put the phone down, ignore any future correspondence you get and they WILL go away, you have my personal guarantee.

However, Taffy is wrong, Roxburghe DID do court, it was just the once, but they were the defendants and had to pay out damages for harassment. They have never taken anyone to court.

Was parking outside my old flat in the early morning of a saturday, return in the afternoon to find a parking ticket from said company. There never used to be any parking restrictions in this area before.
The ticket even has the make of my car scored out and typed differently.
Do I need to pay this?

Is this ticket from Elite? Is it a private car park, i.e. off the public road? If so, you don't even need to think about paying. Just ignore the scammers.

Sorry to ask, how is this a success or failure (see thread title)?:D

Why not just move back a step to read the current forum when you found this rambling old thread, which is fairly long and irrelevant?

See my signature, the current forum is only a click away and you only have to read the top thread and watch the Watchdog video to know you can ignore this scam. Town and Sh1tty letters are shown in the top thread in full I think so you even have a preview of what to ignore.

  • .Hi There

Any advice would be appreciated I have received a parking fine of £40 if i pay within 14 days from UKPC which then goes up to £80 if paid within 28 days . The offence committed was displaying a disabled parking badge which was out of date . I had no idea they had a date on them i thought it lasted as long as the mobility award . As my son is at school during the week we very rarely use the parking badge and do not pay much attention to it . Is there any way we can avoid the fine or it a matter of an expensive lesson learnt and pay up and arrange for a new badge . The offence was committed in Tesco Coatbridge

There is NO OFFENCE except in the fevered imagination of UKPC and their thoroughly ignorant parking drone. Under the Equality Act 2010 you were ENTITLED to use the space if you are disabled, regardless of whether you display a blue badge, whether it is "in date" or, in fact, regardless of whether you have one at all.

Next error, (sorry) it is NOT a FINE, in fact it is nothing at all and if you were so minded you could sue THEM for their breach of the Act I have cited above.

So the whole thing is a scam.

Your available options are, to fight back and claim from them for their illegal behaviour; or to simply take the easy path of ignoring all the rubbish they will send you trying to con you into paying their FAKE and unenforceable scam ticket.

    Up to you!
However, I do suggest that you renew the badge pronto. Not for any reasons connected with this incident, but because if you use it to park on a PUBLIC road you would be in a very different position....
