Sophiesmum - your pressie looks gorgeous - I really liked the idea of using straw as a base. I think you've done the tops of the jars beautifully.
The vicster - another lovely hamper.
Whoever posted the gingerbread men - tempted to go and find my nearest store! They look lovely.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you, that's really kind of you!
I have just thought that if all else fails the National Railway Museum has a Thomas gift-shop so I imagine they probably will sell one, but I bet it's over-priced!
I haven't seen any Thomas colouring books for ages, was looking for one for my wee one.
Thomas the Tank Engine colouring sheets here you can print off... http://www.thomasandfriends.com/uk/activities_coloring.asp

Pingu colouring pages too - http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/pingu/colour/:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thanks for the ideas everyone! I never knew you could print off colouring sheets! Thats great! If I printed a few off and made them into a book that would probably be nicer anyway. What a help you've all been, I knew I could rely on youall0

Yesterday Boots had some of their Gorgeous Footcare range reduced heavily. It was on a rack at the end of an aisle. Might be nice for hampers. I got some of the mini creams for 37p each and a larger one with cotton socks in it for £1.49 each in a box.0

hi girls, i haven't posted for a while but have the afternoon off so have enjoyed catching up on the goings on in the world of hampers! i am slowly coming to the end of my shopping now, just a few little 'filler' type bits to get. will post photos when done.
here are some bargains i have found today:
poundland:
passport cover and luggage tag set in pink, purple or black
travel manicure set in pink
eye mask and bed sock set in pink
plus lots of other pink gardening items/tools plus several other travel related items such as mutli tools.
childrens character cups with lids and straws - i got disney princess
disney princess heigh charts
few other disney princess stationery items
lots of calendars, cars, plants, pets, hunks, babes, girls aloud etc, some have diarys with them
the biggest bargain was a set of 3 pop up boxes, they had gold or burgandy, 1 medium size and 2 small in each pack and they come with gift tags and ribbon, they have a lid that kind of folds down on itself, very good for £1 and perfect if you are struggling to find a basket to suit, i will use one for my father in laws hamper.
lots of other xmas bits like decoartions, handmade gift tags, bags, cards etc including some where you put a photo in the front. Also giant santa sacks - good for putting those big hampers in!
card factory - lots of sets of xmas gift bags, all different sizes, most were £1, the amount you got depended on the size of the bag.
babys first xmas teddy bears, medium size in pink, blue or red - £1.99

Thanks for the ideas!
My latest idea
If you want to bulk out a childs hamper without sweets you can do this
Wilkinson plastic beaker 80p
Fill with
wilkinsons pack of 5 value felt pens (just take them out the wrapper and put them in the cup
Wilkinsons 5 pack value crays
Wilkisons 5 pack value colouring pencils!
That ways no extra sugar and cheaper then filling it with chocolate!

Got the last part of my niece's birthday present today- a talking Iggle Piggle! Here it all is:
It includes: Talking Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy Hat, Scarf and Gloves, Upsy Daisy Socks and In the Night Garden Colouring In Print Outs. Just got to decide what to put it all in now. Might just go with a nice gift bag if I can find one, or possible a pink bin or storage box. Off to lookin in Wilkos in a bit.
Also wanted to share these with you all:

They're felt Christmas tree decs from Matalan- £1.50 for 12 and on 3 for 2 at the mo. I'm going to add them to gifts as extra tags. They're very nice in real life- not sure my pic does them justice! Also picked up a set of 8 Xmas gift bags for £3 also included in the 3 for 2 which I thought was pretty good value.
Sophiesmum- absolutely love that basket. I'd never have thought to put the whiskey in a box before adding it to the hamper but it looks lovely. Also love the decoration you've used on the jars.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
