No problem Tracey, Have a look on page 2 of this thread and I did a quick tutorial on how to post pictures. photobucket requires no downloading though which is fantastic and it is probably one of the best free hosting sites around. I have used them for approx 6 years now and never had any problems.
Good luck, if you need any help just shout or PM me and I will try and help.

Don't worry about the size it is fine ... basket looks fantastic ... now you just need my address to send it to me :rotfl:
If you do want to make your pick smaller just under the button where you click to add your photos there is a box which has the size in ... change that to large and they will be the right size for the forum ... here is a picRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Rusty..thanks for posting the link for the jute bag site. There are some fab bags on there, perfect for making presents look extra special, just a shame they're all only available as a minimum of 10 bags.
The organza ones are gorgeous.. very tempted to order some especially as they're much cheaper. They'd be perfect for a couple of items of smellies, sweets or candles!0 -
RustyFlange wrote: »Hi I was wondering if I could have the recipes for rhubarb Jam, and the 2 marmalades you have there? I am struggling to find presents for my FIL and I think he would like this kind of thing so I am tempted to go down that route?
For the marmalade you can use the tins of mamade concentrated orange/lemons from supermarkets. Asda do the orange one, only seem to find the lemon one in morrisons lately.
Dead easy to make - one tin concentrate £1.20?, 4lb bag of sugar,£1.50? water - follow instructions on tin and you will usually get 7 jars if you add the whole 2kg bag of sugar.
If you only wanted to make say the orange one you could make the individual jars different by adding a couple of teaspoonsfull of whisky, brandy etc to the marmlade before it sets - stir well. Stirring in some ginger is a nice flavour too. I use the jars of easy ginger puree.
So if you had a range of spirits in house already you could make
orange marmalade with whisky
orange marmalade with brandy
orange marmalade with vodka
for two people for less than £3:D
This is the recipe I use for rhubarb jam - I made lots in summer with rhubarb from garden.
Rhubarb Jam
yield 5 lb.
4 1/2 lb. rhubarb
juice of 3 lemons
3 lb. sugar
1. Wipe and trim the rhubarb, and cut the stems into 1 in. pieces. (Prepared weight should be 3 lb.)
2. Layer with sugar in a large bowl, and add the lemon juice.
3. Leave overnight.
4. Put the contents of the bowl into the pan, bring to the boil, and boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
5. For additional flavour, wrap a bruised ginger root in muslin and add to the rhubarb before boiling.
6. Bring to the boil and boil rapidly until setting point is reached.
7. Remove from the heat, skim, pot, cover, and label.0 -
In julian graves they had various sized jars starting from 59p clear jars with green lids! Maybe this could come in handy for some one
Also wilkinsons had some nice mugs starting from 69p
Super savers had 180 typhoo tea bags for £1.69
Asda had adidas womans body spray (comes in sensitive skin too) for £1.00
Waitrose had some lovely mini jams for £1.99 bit pricey!
Just some things i spotted today? maybe could come in handy to people!:T

Does anyone have this link please?
Thanks
EDIT: I think I have found it ... however they sell in multiples of 10 and I only want 1

Just looked on ebay and people are selling them on there for £2.99 + postage eek!
Lakeland do these...

...but they are not that cheap either0 -
Just popped back to say that I'm sure someone else suggested stacking jars into one of those gift bags meant for wine bottles, that might work out cheaper.0
