You have all been so busy, i giggled when i heard you had left stuff out of your hampers, every year when we were younger my mum would produce a christmas gift every year without fail around march/april that she had lost in December :rotfl:

ARGH!!! Have wrapped and cellophaned my sister and BIL2b's hamper and just realised I missed out part of it
    going to go cry/kick myself

Not just me then? I've missed something out of a basket and think I'm going to keep it as it is as I can't bear the thought of unwrapping everything and not being able to do it back up looking nice

to be honest rainmac, i love wrapping and think i can do a better job, and the cellophane i use are those giant cellophane bags with an elastic band so that bit is relatively simple!

It was a really good bit of the gift too- one of those bud designer rubber duckies- rrp £7.50, cost free (OH's work were throwing them out for no reason at all so he nabbed them!) and there was a necklace/bracelet set for my mum that i didnt have at the time because we only had the necklace in stock, and didnt want it without the bracelet lol.

    mini packets of cereals?
    napkins lol
    small butter knife

Morrisons sell mini packets of cereals on their own i.e. not in packs of 6/8 , think they are about 35-40p but at least you dont get the unwanted packets of coco pops

Still trying to put a photo of my sisters gardening hamper that I did for her birthday on here but needless to say she loved it.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Oh, so it's not just my family that do that, then???:rotfl:
One year, when I was little we came home (always spent xmas at my Grandma's) to a late christmas pressie. It wasn't until a few years later that my mum explained that it was left behind by accident when the majority of the gifts were taken to my Grandparents house. Of course, once it happened one time, we expected it every year, so it came a tradition for a while!
My Grandma is an expert at losing stuff and my mum is taking after her. Last christmas she's bought me a DS game (She checked with me that I didn't already have it, so I knew I was getting it), but come christmas, it wasn't there. Mum had 'put it away in a safe place' and couldn't find it. I didn't have it for my birthday in June either-this time she claimed I already had enough presents anyway!-so I'm hoping it'll be under the tree this year. :D
The record for losing things so far is 9 years! My Grandma was taking up a pair of my Dad's trousers and lost them.

I've been a lurker on this thread for a while, and have been making hampers since Christmas, although never remember to take the photos to upload until it is too late!

I recently met up with someone who I used to work with 8 years ago, and will be seeing her again before christmas, so want to do a small hamper for her, although I am stuck with what to get her. I usually just send her gardening vouchers, but want to do a hamper as I really enjoy doing them. Not really got a theme, but have 5 mini pots of jam and a mug to give her, with some tea bags. Can any of you please give me some other ideas as to what else I could put with it. Trouble is I don't really know what food she is into. Budget up to £10.00.

Waiting to put a chocolate hamper together and will try to remember to add photos.

    Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
