  • This might sound silly but if your nearest home bargains is a little way away it may still be worth you going there, it is pretty fab for general shopping too like toiletries and some food such as curry sauces etc. There is a thread dedicated to Home Bargains if you want to see whether it is worth it. I think if you have a car and a few baskets to do I would take a trip, but then I am a bit of a home bargains junkie :)

I have been been out today and got my stuff for the 2 other basketts that I am doing for my mum and gran for xmas. I set aside a £5 budget for each of them and stuck with it. Alhtough my gran looks like she has more, but my mum got chocky from thorntons. The kids 69p bags are on 5 for £3 so I snapped them up lol.

I have a lot to do before I make them but will get pictures on here asap.

ZLS and Shelley gorgeous baskets, you'll make someone very happy.

We're having trouble with broadband here at the mo, virtually the whole estate went offline at 5pm last night and just got back on now. Don't think it's quite sorted yet, I could be gone some time. If you don't here from me I'll be incommunicado :(

Thanks for that , im not sure where our nearest home bargains are

    Questions??????

What do i do , if my florist doesnt sell cellaphane and i cant get any via ebay (no account and no plans for one)

Where do you get the massive bows/ribbons from?

    Thanks
    Jess x
I got my bows from Flower Hour via ebay, they're really good and easy to use. However, Im rubbish at curling up the ends! I always end up cutting through then and end up with frayed bits. Any advice would be gratefully received!

Here we go christmas hamper number 2 for my grandma.

This one has a special grandma teddy, 99p in a charity shop, and various bath products and candels from the pound shop.

    Total cost, £5.

The picture is not very clear, at the back of the bear is a bottle of hand wash and a bottle of moisteriser. Also there is some bath bombs and bath salts in there. Picture does not do it justice will try to get a better picture later.
