Ok so i've got my mums 'pamper hamper' almost finished. Decided my dads getting a pamper hamper too - he likes all the loreal for men stuff. So both of these hampers aren't very MSE but they've been very supportive and helped me no end over the last year.

But i need a few more ideas..

    Dads Hamper

    Loreal for men x 4 moisturisers/lotiony/potiony things
Some anti - wrinkle cream from Avon
    Lynx deoderant
    Then I'm stuck

For my Papa I want to do a whiskey hamper, so far i've got a bottle of Glenfiddich and I'm going ti get some whiskey fudge. Any more ideas, he's also diabetic.

For my nana I want to do a kind of pampery hamper thing but to put it bluntly she's old, not very mobile, oesteoporosis etc. So far i've got royal jelly hand wash and hand cream. I'm also going to make some HM marzipan fruits.

Still new at this but some ideas might be:
    Shower gel/bubble bath
Body Puff (seen some nice blue/green ones recently so not so girly)
Shaving gel / razor / old fashioned shaving brush
    Hand cream

Boots have 342 on mens smellies atm (and quite a few reduced lines in many branches e.g. Ted baker / FCUK / mens vaseline) also reduced Gillette products.
Wilkinsons have a good deal on razor sets also, sorry can't remember which one but they were flying off the shelves. Maybe Wilkinson Sword or King of Shaves?

I used to give my Nannie a long handled back scrubber, new puff, soft towel, flannel etc with her smellies. Talc, rose/lavender water and shower gels always went down well. She had a carer towards the end and often said the fact she felt so pampered by the 'goodies' she got for Christmas made up for the fact she wasn't as independant as she would have liked. Bless her.

I saw some Men's face masks in Asda - Montague Jessunue (sp) 2 types, think they were 97p each. How about a mini fragrance for your Dad?

Perhaps some whiskey jam? You may be able to make a low sugar version?

For your nana, some exfoliating gloves? Might help stimulate skin?

    hth!

Got a lovely hat box in Sue Ryder shop today for a chocoholic hamper for my friend. It was £5.99 but got 20% off.
They have different sizes and colours and are covered in material with a padded lid & cord handle, I think great value and very pretty. They have them in pale pink, white and a gorgeous wine red, will def be back for more.

Will post a pic in the pics thread when done.

Avon have got lots of lavender smelly stuff in just now - its on offer aswell.

Erm, what about ginger tea's, ginger nuts, a ginger cat teddy (little random i know) ginger bread etc

The vicster: I like the sound of whiskey jam - any idea where I can get it?
Also does anyone know where I can get one of those cheese board type things for quite cheap?

Not sure where to get whiskey jam, maybe Waitrose? Would probably be fairly easy to make your own?

We don't have many waitrose's in Scotland  Closest one is Edinburgh and about 60 odd miles away! Might try some other supermarkets.

If you knew what my cooking skills were like you wouldn't even suggest this! I can burn water ...
