Hi everyone,
I did my first (2 basic) hampers last year - without knowing about this site and they went down really well. Having spent the last few hours drooling over the pics and nosying through the threads I'm desperate to get going again! This year the recipients aren't gonna know what hit them!!
Anyway, I'm doing a make-up one for Mum, a pamper box for MIL and hopefully a gamers hamper for my very awkward to buy for brother. I've only just thought of the idea as OH hasn't left the PS3 since he got MW2 Monday night
So far have thought about including:
A can of relentless to keep him going
An air freshener (for his bedroom :rotfl:)
Some 'Girls heart Geeks' socks I got off asos
Deodorant
Am now a bit stuck, can't afford a game to go in it so hoping you creative people will have a bit of inspiration for me...
TIA xx0 -

Hi Tia,
here are a few ideas:
Wet wipes - for when it gets a bit sweaty!
His favourite munchies such as sweets/chocolate/crisps - so he doesn't have to move when playing games
lager or his favourite booze to enhance the game! :rotfl:
ps3 computer magazine - for tips and sometimes they have free demo discs included
As you cannot afford a game for him it may be worth looking in game or gamestation shops for a second hand game that maybe a good price or even ebay
headache tablets

Hi everyone!
I am totally new to this thread but I think it's great...I spotted it last year but it was about a week before christmas so was too late to do anything!
Anyway, I am trying to put one of these together for my nan - she is 78... Last year, I got her a digital photo frame...it was so much effort and time..got all my aunts and uncles to send me photos etc and I think she has had it on once!!!!!
This year I have decided to do one of these hampers....She loves her baths in radox, so I have a couple of those, I have got her the loose women book (she loves watching that!), I am going to get her a yankee candle reed diffuser (have found out that she actually lights the yankee candle tarts and leaves them burning in the bathroom so it makes upstairs smell nice... she came round to see me last week and said she'd left one burning :eek::eek: ) so I think this would go down well!
will get her a nice bottle of red wine too....but has anyone got any other ideas?0 -

Edith Piaf? Serge Gainsbourg? Air? Jacques Brel?
How about some French films or films set in France if they don't like subtitles, like Paris Je T'aime, A Good Year, Jules et Jim etc...xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Yankee candles also do a plug in. That might be another safe option.

I have a bag of yankee wax tarts still in the envelope they were delivered in a week ago and the room smells strongly of them anyway. Mmmm....christmas!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
