Hi all, havnt been on this thread since last christmas and as its getting near again thought I would pop back. I remember someone making a chocolate sort of hamper, where lots of chocolates were sticking up on sticks out of a box, sorry if I sound vague but not sure on how to do this one. Any help, I did see it in a shopping centre today with my friend and she thought it was brill, and I thought I would have a go at making this for her birthday in december, but not sure how to do it.

hi all great ideas again this year from you all, was wondering if any of you have ideas for me on baby gifts in cupcake form. thanks.

While I was out today, I saw a baby bottle filled with socks and gloves, and then wrapped in cello. My friend who is 8 months pregnant thought this was a really cute idea and would love one of these, perhaps this is a thought you may use.
  • Hi, not sure if im in the right thread here but iv been reading through the board gettin inspiration for xmas..... you are all so creative!

Anyway, for anyone like me strugglin with hampers for young teenage boys - was in boots yesterday & they had hair styling stuff (pots of brylecreme) etc down from ~£3 to 80p and 3for2 so I got 3 for £1.60 as the boys love doing their hair lol.

  • Im going to attempt to make my first hamper this christmas and plan on doing a movie night hamper. I was just wondering if anyone knows if Asda still do the small clapperboards that were mentioned a while ago in this thread? and if not does anyone know of anywhere on the highstreet that does them? thanks.
  • Hello,I'm doing a few hampers for the 1st time this christmas after seeing all the beautiful hampers.I'm hoping that someone could help me think up a theme for a joint hamper for my mil and fil.
They are v practical people and have every useful item known to mankind! They do not smoke and only drink at special occasions. They are v v homely people and although they watch documentaries and old films,I wouldn't have a clue, what they are 'into' film wise. They do like tea!!!So I suppose i could go along this theme?Mil is constantly on a diet,so I don't want to buy too many food treats.Fil likes vintage cars and trains and mil likes cross stitching.Hhhmmm.Any ideas anybody please?Ta

  • Ooh, twinkles will have a think

Some emergency help please dear people! I have a very good friend I normally make an effort for for her birthday but I haven't had chance this time and I have to have it done by Friday. Is there anything you can think of that I can just put together without having to make anything? I can't do an ice cream hamper or a film hamper as she knows I have done them for other close mutual friends. Eek. She is a bit of a party animal at the weekend but works really hard all week as an OT, she likes vodka, noel fielding, most music, always has great make up and is obsessed with straightening her hair. I don't really want to have to take time to do it as I have lots on at the moment but I would like it to be nice enough to be meaningful, my budget is about £20, all ideas gratefully received! x

Anyone tell me where I went wrong?
