First time posting on this thread but wanted to say Thank you to you all for your great hamper ideas

I made a pink themed one for my friends birthday using one of the Hallmark boxes from HBargains, they are perfect.

For Xmas I want to make movie ones for my 2 brothers,a top gear one for 1 of my sons,a baking one for a friend.

Also need one for my mum and dad, possibly gardening and smellies etc to recover after?

I have started a morning hamper for my Aunt and Uncle,I got egg cosy set from Wilkos sale reduced from £5.00 to £1.99

2 Xmas mugs 49p each from £2.50 Dunhelm mills. Will fill with hot chocolate sachets

OH is going to get some samples when he stays in the hotels( He is a coach driver) so that will be handy.

Not sure what else ? so any ideas appreciated.

Towards the end of summer there will probably be a lot of gardening things reduced. Wilkinsons should be good for that.

How about a toast rack for the morning one? Some coffee?

Do you live near a Home Bargains? They're great for hamper ideas.

Thankyou for the replies ladies, I struggle with older girls, mine is still such a littly and I don't think she will ever grow out of winnie the pooh and tigger (I could be wrong lol)

I forgot I also picked up some frames a set of 3 they were also reduced to £1 in asda aswell :rotfl:

I need to get to the £ shop and see what I can get, although probably won't be until saturday now!

    Thankyou very much :D

    Hey rusty,

I know it is kind of expensive but did you see that in Asda they have loads of brand new Winnie the Pooh clothes? The ones from the Disney channel with the little girl :) I also saw that scooter you liked on thedisneystore.com but I doubt it was cheap LOL Keep yer eye out on there because sometimes they have great sales and sell Christmassy things too.

Oh also i saw loadssss of Disney Princess and WTP things in Home Bargains.. fuzzy felt colouring sets, games and toys.

Hope this helps you out x

  • Hi - my B&M always has some lovely Disney Princess items at very reasonable prices - they had a lovely money tin for £1 last week, stickers sets for 49p and some PJs for £3.99.

    Hope this helps.

Don't know if this is useful to anyone but Lidl have plain cellophane in at the moment for 79p a roll. Forgot to look how long the rolls are but looked about 5m I'd say.

Need to get my !!! in gear and start making some hampers as I have done nothing for ages and have a couple of birthdays coming up.

Ooh, thanks, I need to get some for my ice cream hamper. I got a 'chip and dip' bowl to put all the stuff in, it's just fitting it all in now, oh, and I got 2 pairs of fluffy socks for it from matalan for £1 and I am going to layer them up in the sundae glass so it looks like ice cream :) the spoon has a cherry on the end so if I can I will make it look like a sundae, here's hoping it isn't too stressful

Oooh I didn't see any? mind you I didn't look at the clothes! I shall go investigate
The scooter unfortunately is us only :( disneystore.com won't ship over here :( I managed to get the pink little play scooter though, although through ebay and I paid over the odds

I managed to pick up a HSM doll for this little girl for today, and have a couple of other bits for her which I picked up after christmas so all sorted now thankyou to all.
