Those who have made tea hampers, has anyone purchased from https://www.teapigs.co.uk? and could you recommend them?

I saw something on ebay made by them so wanted to compare the prices and teapig is actually cheaper :rotfl: but have never ordered from them so just wanted to check before ordering?

Also can anyone suggest ideas for a chilli hamper?

I have found chilli tea (above @ teapigs)
    chilli fidge
    chillli chocolate
    chilli sauce hot and spicy
    Grow your own chilli plant
Thinking about getting some chillis from supermarket
some chilli billtong whatever that is but it sounds nice ...

Can anyone else suggest anything? the hotter the better :D

Now this would be expensive but they do chilli hot chocolate from Hotel Chocolat. I wonder if there would be another brand you could buy, or maybe make up a mini kit to make it themselves. I love the Linghams Chilli sauce, tall bottle with yellow label and I know that Home Bargains has some really nice grinders with chilli flakes in, I think they are about 79p but they look nicer. I also like Peppadew peppers in jars, they are pretty spicy and delicious, can get them in Tesco.

Sounds like a great hamper, could you put some cooling stuff in as well, as a joke?
God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day
  • what about those walkers chilli and chocolate crisps
    chilli oil
    chilli chutney
found this too and thought it was funny

Hmmmm I think there is a hotel chocolat in town but not sure, He doesn't like dark chocky and most of the chilli chocky is actually dark. Ideally I would like milk chocky.
I shall write down your suggestions for the chilli stuff and go shopping ;) Thankyou for your help.

As for cooling I might put in some of the deep freeze rub ... I was thinking of maybe a couple of mini bottles of wine and a couple of bottles of beer ... originally I was going to do a beer hamper for him ... its just a little something off the kiddies for fathers day!

I did chilli basket for xmas and these are the things I had in the: HM sweet chilli jam, chilli infused olive oil with a xstitched chilli tied round the neck of the bottle, chilli chocolate, hot/spicy paprika powder, homegrown chilli plants & chilli fudge. Oh and a terracotta serviette holder with chillis on it. You could put some chilli flavoured crisps/tortillas in it too. It's great fun finding stuff for it, isnt it? Good luck x
